Empowering Odisha’s Youth Through Vocational Skilling! 🌟🧵

S-ILF recently completed a successful sensitisation session for youth enrolled in the DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana) program at Sahana Clothing Company Pvt. Ltd. in Khordha, Odisha!

DDU-GKY is a placement-linked training scheme by the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India, providing BPL category youth with market-driven skills and job opportunities.

Key Highlights:
• Target Audience: BPL youth from districts across Odisha.
• Focus: Career guidance, workplace transition, and financial independence.
• Venue: Sahana Clothing Company Pvt. Ltd., Khordha.

A major step toward economic independence and holistic care! 💼🩺✨

S-ILF successfully concluded a 2-Day EDP Workshop at TLM, Manamadurai, Tamil Nadu(Aug 29–30, 2026)!

From business planning, financial literacy, and marketing to health awareness sessions, eye check-ups, and blood tests (in collaboration with TLM & the Government Hospital), the program empowered participants on all fronts.

A proud moment was handing over livelihood sanction letters to our new set of livelihood beneficiaries! Thank you to all participants for their incredible energy and active involvement. 🤝💙

Under Project SAHARA, S-ILF CEO handed over an electric wheelchair to Mr Ramaswamy Pethiraj, bringing immense happiness and renewed mobility to his life! 🌹

Standing strong against the storm! 🌧️📦

Despite heavy rains and logistical challenges, S-ILF's Humanitarian Aid efforts reached 291 flood-affected families across 6 districts of Odisha (Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj & Jajpur), delivering crucial dry ration kits directly to local leprosy colonies.

Rain and difficult terrain couldn't stop our team from ensuring no family was left behind in their moment of need. 🤝💙
