"Rolling Towards Dignity: Reclaiming Mobility and Hope ♿✨"

had the privilege of handing an electric wheelchair to Mr Matharla Ramana, a resident of A.S. Colony in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, who lives with a disability caused by leprosy.

For a long time he faced severe mobility limitations and depended on others for daily movement. Receiving this wheelchair has given him independence, dignity, and the simple joy of moving freely again.

This distribution is part of Project SAHARA, a pan-India initiative delivering mobility aids to people with leprosy-related disabilities supported by Mitsubishi Corporation India Pvt Ltd.

Mr Ramana expressed his heartfelt thanks to S-ILF and Mitsubishi Corporation India Pvt Ltd for the support.

Small acts like this reduce isolation, restore confidence, and open pathways to fuller participation in community life.

🦽 Restoring Mobility, Reigniting Hope 🦽

We are pleased to share a heartwarming moment: An electric wheelchair has been distributed to Mrs A. Kanthamma, 63, a resident of Ambedkar Leprosy Colony, Nalgonda, Telangana.

Mrs Kanthamma has been affected by leprosy for the past 35 years and was severely struck by paralysis two years ago, leaving her dependent on others for daily mobility. Today, thanks to this gift, she can reclaim her independence and joy. ♿✨

This initiative is made possible through a partnership between Mitsubishi Corporation India Pvt Ltd and under Project SAHARA, a pan-India effort to deliver wheelchairs to people with leprosy-related disabilities.

Together, we're ensuring that no one is left behind. Let's support dignity, mobility, and hope for all. 🙏

S-ILF CEO Mr Gaurab Sen talks of stigma and how it affects generations , so much that not even a celebrity till date has endorsed the cause!

A sharp, uncomfortable conversation on stigma, exclusion, and a question we don’t ask enough—why has this issue been ignored for so long? No CSR spotlight. No celebrity voice. Why?

Tune in for facts that go beyond stigma—and force us to rethink inclusion.
