🎶 A Memorable Evening of Indian Classical Music – Rasa Music Festival 2024 🎶

On 13th September 2024, Baba Vishwanath Society for Music and Performing Arts had the privilege of presenting the Rasa Music Festival at the iconic Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi.

The festival brought together some of India’s most celebrated musicians, featuring the Grammy Award-winning flute maestro Shri Rakesh Chaurasia, the legendary Padma Shri Pandit Anup Jalota, eminent Kirana Gharana vocalist Pandit Vishwanath, and the young Shehnai maestro Pandit Bhaskarnath.

The evening was a beautiful celebration of India’s rich musical heritage, leaving the audience spellbound with soulful performances and unforgettable moments.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the artists, patrons, supporters, volunteers, and music lovers whose presence and encouragement made this festival a grand success.

Together, we continue our journey of preserving, promoting, and celebrating the timeless traditions of Indian classical music.

Baba Vishwanath Society for Music and Performing Arts was privileged to present “Jasraj Jayanti”, a special musical tribute celebrating the birth anniversary of the legendary Pandit Jasraj Ji, while also commemorating 150 Glorious Years of “Vande Mataram.”

The evening featured captivating performances by:
🎼 Pandit Bhaskar Nath – Shehnai Recital
🎻 Dr. Pt. Santosh Nahar – Violin Recital
🎤 Dr. Avinash Kumar & Dr. Nandana Rahasya – Mesmerizing Jasrangi Vocal Duet

The artists were ably supported by accomplished accompanists, making the concert a truly unforgettable celebration of India’s rich classical music heritage.
