Small actions, massive impact!

​On July 18th, over 70+ passionate volunteers including incredible students, municipal teams, NGOs, and a powerhouse showing from women changemakers came together to clean up the Mula-Mutha riverbanks in Pune!

We spent our day under the Signature Bridge in Delhi, and the numbers speak for themselves: 380 kgs of plastic waste successfully removed!

Protecting our natural water bodies requires collective action. 🌿🌏
River Cleanup India joined forces with the OMP team for a crucial river cleanup initiative at the Dahisar River. Working on the ground alongside local forest officers from Sanjay Gandhi National Park and passionate local River Warriors, the team focused on clearing accumulated plastic and waste directly from the ecosystem.
Through this joint effort, we successfully removed 284 kg of garbage, ensuring it was properly channelled for disposal. A huge thank you to all the authorities, teams, and volunteers for their incredible dedication—true change happens when we work together. 🤝

True respect for the Tricolour isn’t just about hoisting it high; it’s about ensuring it never touches the dust.
