Our methodology is two-fold: a design space and a programming space. In our design space, we offer a unique range of creative products designed by both young and established artists and curated to reflect the history, process and development of raw materials, resources and ideas in the region. Our program space has frequent events, which new approaches in thinking on stagnant issues in Southasia b
y writers, activists and thinkers; having an open forum between students and professionals from No Man’s Land’s countries and regions; showcasing films and documentaries; and hosting original music, dance, comedy and theater performances. The conceptual display of the work celebrated in No Man’s Land is based on curatorship around specific monthly themes that highlight the rich history, developments and changes that the region has and continues to undergo. A different guest curator will spearhead each exhibit. No Man’s Land will also host:
A Southasia reading and audio-visual corner, which houses a growing collection of works in both English, regional languages and translated works of writing from the featured regions. A dinner at NML: a unique once-monthly dining experience to explore the varied flavors of the region.
