Amaryn Care is a SVATANYA India Foundation initiative through which handcrafted soft toys are distributed to children in hospitals, orphanages, NGOs and children with special needs....just any child who needs a little cheer...a little buddy to hold onto. We at Amaryn Care like to bring a smile to their faces and brighten up their day, by doing our little bit. The smiles when children enthusiastically hug their softies and make them their besties are priceless! The soft toys distributed as a part of this initiative are handcrafted by underprivileged women, for whom this is a means to earning a livelihood. We invite you to be a part of our family and share the bliss associated with spreading some cheer and joy. SVATANYA is a social initiative that aims to empower underprivileged women by training them to make handcrafted products, which are then sold under its in-house labels, AMARYN and My Munchkin. This not only helps them up-skill but also become financially independent and self-reliant. The enterprise was founded with a belief, ”If you want to bring a change, bring it through the women. Empower them and see the magic! Because when a woman grows, her children grow, her family grows and so does the society.” Besides being socially committed we also endeavor to minimize our carbon footprint. Right from using sustainable fabrics, promoting textile recycling, to using cut to order technologies, being environmentally conscious is one of our core values. The journey started with just two enthusiastic apprentices who were keen to train and learn. Today, the company has come a long way and has engaged and trained more than 100 women since its inception, and 40 of them are regular with the outfit.
