उम्मीद फाउंडेशन – Hope for Human द्वारा द्रोण पब्लिक स्कूल, द्वाराहाट (अल्मोड़ा) में आयोजित “महाकुंभ ऑफ टैलेंट्स” ने विद्यार्थियों को अपनी रचनात्मकता, आत्मविश्वास और प्रतिभा को प्रदर्शित करने का एक अनूठा अवसर प्रदान किया।

Hearing Health Care Program – Restoring Sound, Restoring Lives

Ummid Foundation – Hope for Human is committed to creating an inclusive and empowered society through its Hearing Health Care Program and Hearing Intervention & Livelihood Initiative. This impactful campaign focuses on supporting children and economically weaker communities suffering from hearing impairments by providing access to hearing care services, awareness programs, and rehabilitation support.

Campaign Objectives
The initiative aims to identify hearing disabilities among children at an early stage through regular screening and medical intervention camps. The program also focuses on providing hearing aids, speech therapy support, counseling, and rehabilitation services to improve communication abilities, learning opportunities, and overall quality of life. In addition, the livelihood component empowers beneficiaries with skill development opportunities, helping them become financially independent and socially confident.

Creating Inclusive Communities

Ummid’s Growing Presence in Nagaland (North East India)

Ummid Foundation – Hope for Human proudly organized its second outreach camp at Phelungre, Kiphire, Nagaland, continuing its mission of empowering remote communities across North East India. This initiative reflects the foundation’s unwavering commitment towards social welfare, health awareness, and community development in underserved regions.

Campaign Objectives
The primary objective of this camp was to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene, promote healthy sanitation practices, and provide essential hygiene support to adolescent girls and women. Through educational interaction and community engagement, the campaign aimed to encourage confidence, dignity, and better health awareness among local residents.

Impact in Phelungre, Kiphire
As part of the “Swachand” Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program, Ummid Foundation conducted awareness sessions along with the free distribution of sanitary pads among students and community members. The camp successfully reached young girls in remote areas, helping break social taboos around menstrual health and encouraging open conversations on hygiene and wellbeing.
