SCYP is a independent, not for profit, apolitical and secular exchange organization which can assist in capacity building of people both professional a well as cultural and spiritual, specially youth. Youth exchange and capacity building can be considered a central theme as well as intercultural learning due to the widespread pervasive ubiquitous culture of war, conflict, terrorism and genocides i
n the contemporary world. We also pledged that we will work towards defeating communalism, bigotry, racism, hatred, injustice, child labour, slavery and gender inequality. Work:
We are currently working on a project co-financed by the EACEA, European Commission. We look forward to increasing our activities in the future if we are able to secure funding for our organization. We aspire to collaborate and co-operate with like minded organization across the world. Our quest has been satisfactory so far as we have included many more like minded young people in our society. We are also collaborating with like minded people and civil society organizations across the world. We are doing collaborative projects with Armenia, Slovenia, Nepal, Vietnam, Philippines, China and Ivory Coast. History:
SCYP is registered as NGO with govt of NCT Delhi under Society registration act of govt of India. It was established by 7 young people living and working in Delhi in the year 2008. These young people included doctors, lawyer, management professionals, media professional and a university administration official from University of Delhi. Other Activities:
We have been organizing medical and health camps, career counselling for young people, heritage and cultural trips as well as reaching out to rural people and studying their problems and thinking about sustainable solutions. We are also involved in community education and awareness through social media in policy formulation as well as strategic decision making especially in critical areas of health, environment and culture.
