Community Radio Association - CRA

Community Radio Association - CRA Community Radio Association, is a member based organization of operating Community Radio Stations, i South/2011 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.

The CRA represents operating Community Radio Stations in India and has some 23 governing body members, five zonal chapters and is in the process of forming state chapters. Led by functioning and sustainable radio stations, CRA brings to the fore the best practices and provides a platform to share the experiences of a very diverse community. Together the members of CRA reach out of a population of

over 2 million people. CRA brings with it grassroots experience and success stories from the ground. It is best equipped to convince those in any doubt and to mobilize groups of people, NGOs and others representing the diversity of the country to set up CRs and providing a platform to the hard to reach and difficult to reach communities.
