Rachit Taparia (son of Shri Pawanji & Smt Vinti Taparia from Bhilwara, Rajasthan) has cleared the selection exams of Haryana Judicial Services and has been appointed as a Hon’ble Judge in Haryana state. Rachit prepared for this rigorous exam at Shri JaiChandlal Karwa Maheshwari (JCKM) Hostel, Delhi which provides a boarding & learning facility for Civil & Judicial Services aspirants. Rachit has also been a recipient for scholarship support under JCKM Scholars program in 2023.
It may be noted that Rachit’s elder brother Shri Kartik Taparia is also a judge & working as a Civil Judge in Delhi state. Rachit also awaits his Mains Exam result for Delhi Judiciary.

*Shri JaiChandlal Karwa Maheshwari (JCKM) Hostel* conducted an informative webinar *UPSC & Beyond* for Civil Services Aspirants. It discussed a *holistic approach* to Plan B - *Opportunities beyond UPSC - in Govt Sector & PSUs, Regulatory Bodies, Corporate Sector, Start-ups and Development Sector* along with *Actionable Points*. The session began with an introduction by Nilesh Karwa, followed by an address by *Dr. Shrikantji Baldi* Sir (IAS). Our panel of speakers comprised of past IAS aspirants in eminent positions -
*CA Jugal Mundra*, (also LLB, working in strategic consulting in Mumbai),
*Mr. Adarsh Baser* (Deputy Collector, Jamnagar – through Gujarat State Civil Services),
*CA Raghav Maheshwari* (Manager at Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India),
*Mr. Parakh Sarda* (IFS - Forest),
*Mr. Akshay Taparia* (Asst. Audit Officer with CGL),
*Ms. Rajshree Lahoti* (working in content marketing at a Ed Tech firm)

We had the privilege of welcoming *Shri Vishnuji Bajaj* (*IRAS*, 2005) to *Shri JaiChandlal Karwa Maheshwari Hostel* for a *Conclave Seminar* on July 4, 2024 with our IAS aspirants. The evening commenced with an engaging interaction with our *Mains Aspirants* in the Reception Lobby. This was followed by a session in the Seminar Hall dedicated to our *Prelims Aspirants*.

Shri Vishnuji delivered a motivational discourse on student life and general good practices, drawing from his own experiences both as an aspirant and an Officer. He enriched the session by citing anecdotes from the Gita and other sources, providing inspiration and insightful answers to the aspirants' questions.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Shri Vishnuji Bajaj for addressing our young aspirants and for being part of our journey towards our *lakshya*.

*Shri JaiChandlal Karwa Maheshwari (JCKM) Hostel* welcomed *Shri Anayji Navandar* (*IAS*, 2022) on July 6, 2024. Anayji is an Asst Collector at Bhandara, Maharashtra and is also attached as an Asst Secretary with Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, GOI.

Our Managing Trustee, *Shri BrijMohanji Rathi*, warmly welcomed Shri Anayji Navandar for the *Conclave Seminar*. The evening commenced with an interactive session with our *Mains Aspirants*, who eagerly sought guidance on their preparation. This was followed by a seminar with the *Prelims Aspirants*, where numerous questions on preparation strategy, time management, and study materials were addressed. Anayji shared his insights and experiences as an aspirant, providing valuable advice with great flair.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Anayji Navandar for his visit and valuable engagement with the aspirants. His insights have provided significant guidance, helping them make informed and calculated efforts in their journey.

Glad to have screened 12th Fail movie today at PVR Cinemas with young UPSC aspirants from our Hostels. It was fun but also an emotional and engaging experience as we shared a few moments of this journey with them.
The movie 12th Fail, by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, based on Anurag Pathaks best selling novel, depicting the journey of a lad from Chambal district who fails 12th class but then does BA, comes to Delhi to train for the world's toughest exams - UPSC, & goes on to become a IPS Officer. An inspiring tale of struggle, grit, determination, friendships, and never giving up - celebrating those who get through and others who don't.
