The Samanvaya Society for Art and Culture is a Delhi-based Society supported by a like-minded group of individuals who want to be the change in order to bring about the change.At Samanvaya, our endeavour is to come together in pursuit of a common goal. We aim promote Indian art and culture through theatre, spinning, pottery and promotion of eco-friendly products. Founded on September 28, 2011, Sam
anvaya has a strong focus on social issues and builds upon the expertise and experience of various theatre artists. We bring these issues to the fore by engaging with people through theatre. In pursuance of our goal, we perform various street and stage plays in order to spread awareness about the numerous global issues that affect the socio-economic dynamics of our society. Issues such as AIDS, Female Infanticide, Sensex, Corruption, Road Safety, Organic Farming, Right to Education etc. are raised and addressed in a manner that is consistent with the consciousness of the people. We believe that “Theatre is for everyone!” and therefore devise, design and conduct theatre workshops. We provide a platform for interested enthusiasts to learn and enhance their confidence, communication skills, creativity, critical thinking and cultural awareness. In addition, we also encourage non-theatre artists to gain a wide range of skills both on and off the stage.
