Family of Disabled (FOD) Building capacities; Fostering self reliance FOD is a registered charitable trust, founded by Rajnder Johar, a person with quadriplegia 19 years back.

It is running an assortment of exclusive programmes for persons with disabilities to help them them become self-relaint and financially independent individuals and also responsible and contributing citizens.

🚇 *Support Fare Concessions for Persons with Disabilities in Delhi Metro*

Delhi Metro is a lifeline for work, education and healthcare but for many Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), daily travel is still unaffordable.

Under Section 41 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, concessions are meant to ensure affordable mobility: yet Delhi Metro has no formal fare concession policy for PwDs.

Ms Rekha Gupta, Hon'ble of Delhi inaugurated the Mela along with the Hon'ble Union minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar yesterday on December 13. The Mela is a must visit if you wish to witness the talent and creativity of artists, artisans and entrepreneurs with disabilities participating here from different parts of India.

Tree Plantation Drive organised by in collaboration with in their campus, where over 60 saplings were planted by our disabled members and students of .
People with disabilities are often seen as takers and disability is seen as a charity issue. In this drive, our disabled members lead the way in going green. The drive was facilitated with the support of the Principal, professors and students of the College.
