🌾🏃‍♀️ Rural Initiative Week 2026 – Day 1 ⚽♟️
Rural Initiative Week 2026 commenced with energy, enthusiasm, and the spirit of teamwork across two locations simultaneously—Delhi and Faridabad.
A total of 95 children participated in an exciting afternoon of sports and games.
At Shalimar Bagh, 55 children from Sarthak Prayas NGO took part in football, badminton, chess, and an intensely competitive game of carrom. Simultaneously, 40 children in Faridabad displayed the same enthusiasm, filling the grounds with laughter, teamwork, and countless high-fives.
The true victory was not measured by the number of goals scored or matches won. Instead, it was reflected in the confidence on every child's face, the friendships that were strengthened, and the joy of being part of a team.
The initiative highlighted how sport had the power to build confidence, discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of community. These values embodied the purpose of Rural Initiative Week, which aimed to create opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive through play.
Day 1 marked a wonderful beginning, and the team looked forward to reaching three more locations in the coming week.

Young Indians Delhi hosted an insightful session with Dr. Rajesh Sagar, Professor of Psychiatry at AIIMS, New Delhi, who shared practical, evidence-based strategies on stress management, resilience, mental well-being, and leading with clarity under pressure.
The enriching session was followed by Yi Socials—an evening of meaningful conversations, networking, and camaraderie over drinks and dinner, bringing together members to connect, collaborate, and strengthen the Yi community.

🌍 Civic Sense Begins with Us! 💚
Yi Masoom, in collaboration with Yi Yuva, successfully conducted a Civic Sense Awareness Session at Birla Vidya Niketan, New Delhi, engaging 270 students in an interactive learning experience.
The session encouraged students to embrace the values of civic responsibility, empathy, kindness, and environmental stewardship. Through meaningful discussions and engaging activities, they explored the importance of respecting people and public spaces, understanding the impact of their actions on the environment, and believing that "The world is one home—let's treat it with love."
The enthusiastic participation of the students reflected their commitment to becoming responsible citizens and contributing towards building cleaner, kinder, and more compassionate communities. 🌱✨

The Women of Yi had the privilege of engaging in a thought-provoking and insightful interaction with Swati Maliwal on the theme Women Entrepreneurs and Public Policy.

The session featured an open exchange of ideas on women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, policy, and the opportunities and challenges shaping today's ecosystem. From sharing experiences to discussing the importance of creating an enabling environment for women entrepreneurs, the conversation was both inspiring and impactful.
