Banasthali Public School organised a Self-Defence Training & Confidence Development Programme under the initiative of Principal Ms. Anubha Goyal, in association with Delhi Police and Lions Club Delhi.

The students received valuable self-defence training from Sub-Inspector Kiran Sethi, popularly known as “Lady Singham of Delhi,” and Mr. Shiv Kumar Kohli, Limca Book of Records holder, inspiring them to stay alert, confident and prepared.

The session went beyond self-defence, fostering self-confidence, patriotism, cyber safety awareness, courage and the spirit of helping others.

Banasthali Public School conducted engaging Kaushal Bodh activities for students of Classes VI to VIII, in alignment with the CBSE/NCERT project-based skill education framework.

The students enthusiastically participated in hands-on activities such as cooking without fire, preparing a First Aid Kit, and creating beautiful photo frames. These activities encouraged creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, responsibility and the development of useful everyday skills.

Through meaningful learning-by-doing experiences, students explored practical skills while understanding the importance and dignity of work. The activities provided an enriching platform to connect classroom learning with real-life situations and develop confidence, independence and a spirit of collaboration.

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the young learners of Banasthali Public School participated in a fun and meaningful hands-on activity. The children enthusiastically created Gandhi-inspired spectacles (chashma) using Tricolour paper.

This creative activity helped the children connect with the significance of Gandhi Jayanti while exploring their creativity and developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and paper-handling skills. As they folded, arranged, and assembled the colourful papers, the children experienced the joy of learning by doing.

The activity also introduced our little learners to the Tricolour and the values associated with Mahatma Gandhi, such as peace, simplicity, truth, and cleanliness, in an age-appropriate and engaging way.

The activity promoted creativity, fine motor development, coordination, and awareness of Gandhi Jayanti through an enjoyable hands-on learning experience.

🎨🇮🇳 Meri Seva, Mera Sankalp – Viksit Bharat 2026 🇮🇳🎨

Banasthali Public School conducted a creative Painting Activity under the theme “Viksit Bharat 2026” as part of the Meri Seva, Mera Sankalp initiative. Our young artists expressed their dreams and ideas for a progressive, prosperous and self-reliant India through vibrant colours and imaginative artwork.

The activity encouraged students to think creatively while reflecting on their responsibilities towards the nation. Through their paintings, the students beautifully portrayed their vision of a strong, developed and sustainable India.

🛡️🇮🇳 SELF-DEFENCE AWARENESS PROJECT – Empowering Young Minds! 🇮🇳🛡️

Banasthali Public School organised an enriching Self-Defence Awareness Project for our Students, in association with Delhi Police and Lions Club Delhi, aimed at empowering students with awareness, confidence and essential safety skills.

The session was conducted by Sub-Inspector Kiran Sethi, popularly known as the “Lady Singham of Delhi Police,” and Coach Shiv Kumar Kohli, an awardee of the Limca Book of Records and International World Book of Records.

The students were introduced to the importance of self-protection, personal safety and cyber safety. The resource persons also inspired them to be responsible citizens, serve society and nurture a deep sense of love and respect for the motherland. 🇮🇳

Principal Ms. Anubha Goyal encouraged the students to learn self-defence, remain alert and confident, and understand their responsibility towards themselves, society and the nation.
