Aspire - A Society for Promotion of Inclusive & Relevant Education ASPIRE — A Society for Promotion of Inclusive & Relevant Education — is a movement for education. Community is in the centre of ASPIRE’s all endeavor.

About Us

ASPIRE, a non-profit organization, has been set up by a group of development professionals with experience of over two decades in the fields of Education, Child Rights, Health, Gender and Livelihoods. ASPIRE is registered under the Rajasthan Society’s registration act 1958, vide registration number 484 Jaipur 1996-97 and its area of operation is all over the country. People Centric Appro

ach
ASPIRE believes that the people have innate desire for advancing the condition of their lives, but lack the requisite knowledge, skill and confidence to give concrete shape to their aspirations. The role of civil society organisations, including ASPIRE is to help realise this innate potential of the people by providing them opportunity, knowledge and skills. Focus on Inclusion
Inclusion and relevance are the two major challenges in education, in a highly differentiated and rapidly changing world of today. If the Right to Education for all is to become a reality, we must ensure that all learners have access to quality education that meets basic learning needs and enriches lives. Exclusion from or limitation of educational opportunities based on s*x, ethnic origin, language, religion, nationality, social origin, economic condition, ability, etc must not be acceptable. Education is not simply about making schools available for those who are already able to access them. It is about being proactive in identifying the barriers and obstacles that learners with disadvantage encounter in their attempt to access quality education, as well as in removing those barriers and obstacles that lead to exclusion. Research and Innovation to Make Education Relevant to the 21st Century Needs
Human civilization is faced with newer and more complex challenges. A new set of knowledge and skills are needed to meet these challenges. For education to remain relevant to the ever-changing needs of the human civilization, there is need to constantly innovate and incorporate new ideas and skills. ASPIRE aims to work towards keeping education relevant to the 21st century challenges by undertaking the task of generating new knowledge through practice and also integrating researches carried out across the world in its own practices. Sustainability
ASPIRE works on the premise that change which comes out of people’s own initiatives is most likely to be sustainable. Environmental sustainability is also a key concern of ASPIRE. ASPIRE’s Mandate
• Work as a resource organisation in the area of education for capacity building of government and non -government organisations, especially community-based organisations
• Undertake implementation of field based programmes to develop models for school reform
• Undertake research, documentation and networking for advocacy in the area of education
• Develop teams of professionals who will work as facilitators for change in the education landscape of India. Advisory Board of ASPIRE

Empowering Teachers, Enriching Classrooms 📚✨

ASPIRE organized a two-day workshop with Government Teachers of Kharagpur-1 to strengthen the effective use of Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs) under the Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN) programme.

The workshop focused on making classrooms more joyful, interactive, and activity-based, in line with the vision of NEP 2020. Through hands-on sessions, teachers explored innovative ways to create and use TLMs that support children's learning through experience and participation.

A key outcome of the workshop was the teachers' commitment to adopting "Learning by Doing" approaches, helping transform classrooms into engaging spaces where children can learn with curiosity and confidence.

The programme concluded with the distribution of TLMs and the introduction of structured lesson plans to further support teachers in their classroom practice.

World Day Against Child Labour

Observed every year on 12 June, World Day Against Child Labour reminds us of the urgent need to protect children from exploitation and ensure their right to education, safety, and a dignified childhood.

At ASPIRE, we work to bring children back to school and support those who are vulnerable to child labour, school dropout, and other forms of exclusion. Through community mobilisation, awareness programmes, and bridge education initiatives, we strive to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.

To mark the day, awareness activities were organvised across our intervention areas, bringing together children, teachers, community members, and local leaders to spread the message that every child belongs in school, not at work.

As we observe World Day Against Child Labour, we reaffirm our commitment to building communities where children are protected, educated, and empowered to dream of a brighter future.

🌟 From Exclusion to Achievement: A Moment of Pride and Inspiration! 🌟

On 6 June 2026, a heartwarming felicitation ceremony was organized in Sonua Block, West Singhbhum, to celebrate the remarkable achievements of children from ASPIRE's Residential Bridge Courses (RBCs) who successfully passed their Class 10 Board Examinations.

🎓 The young achievers were honored by Hon'ble Member of Parliament Smt. Joba Majhi, who applauded their determination, perseverance, and hard work. Addressing the students, she encouraged them to continue their educational journey, emphasizing that education has the power to transform lives and open doors to endless opportunities.

👏 Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manish Kumar also congratulated the students and highlighted the importance of recognizing young achievers. He noted that such encouragement not only strengthens the confidence of the children being honored but also motivates many others in the community to pursue education.

✨ For these children, many of whom once faced barriers to education, this recognition marks much more than academic success—it is a celebration of resilience, hope, and the belief that every child deserves a chance to learn and succeed.

Their journey stands as a powerful reminder that when communities, institutions, and supporters come together, children can overcome challenges and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.

✨ A Day of Inspiration, Hope and New Beginnings ✨

The Girls' Residential Bridge Course (RBC) Centre at Purumunda, Ghatgaon, was honoured to welcome Sri Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Founder and Editor of Sambad newspaper and Kanak electronic media for a heartwarming interaction with the children.

These are children who have overcome challenges such as school dropout, child labour, and difficult life circumstances, and are now continuing their education with renewed hope and determination.

Sri Patnaik spent time listening to their stories, understanding their struggles, celebrating their dreams, and encouraging them to believe in their potential. His words of wisdom inspired the children to pursue their goals with courage, perseverance, and confidence.

He highlighted the importance of respecting our Mother, Motherland, Mother Tongue, Soil and Nature, while encouraging the children to become responsible citizens who contribute towards a healthy, addiction-free and violence-free society.

The interaction served as a powerful reminder that when children receive the right support, guidance and opportunities, they can overcome adversity and create brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
