As an affiliated member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF), Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), the IOA administers various aspects of sports governance and athletes’ welfare in the country. Some brilliant performances from our archers at the Shanghai Archery World Cup Stage 2. Congratulations to our Women’s Recurve team of Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat and Kumkum Mohod on winning the Gold against home favourites China, after beating top seeds and 10x Olympic Champions South Korea in the Semis. Congratulations to Sahil Jadhav who won his maiden World Cup medal with a Bronze in the Men’s Compound event.
