Dr Chandni Bedi, Coordinating Director, Navjyoti India Foundation and National President - WICCI, Water Resources Council, was invited to the Women for Water National Consultation organised by Parmarth Samaj Sevi Sansthan. She brought grassroots realities from Haryana to the discussion, highlighting the need to move beyond 50% women's representation in Pani Samitis to more meaningful participation and decision-making in water governance. Team Navjyoti also interacted with Jal Sahelis from Bundelkhand, Bihar and Jharkhand learning from their experiences.

🌿As part of the collaboration between Navjyoti India Foundation and EARTHTREE Trust, Ms. Smita Ahuja, Founder of EARTHTREE, conducted a hands-on session for rural women on making bio-enzymes at home using natural ingredients.

The session focused on helping women create an eco-friendly alternative to conventional chemical-based cleaning agents such as phenyl and Lysol using simple ingredients that can be prepared at home.

From learning the process to making their own bottles, the women took a step towards more sustainable homes, reduced dependence on chemical cleaners, and a greener environment. 🌱
