w Whypoll , you will be able to directly email your legislators and petition them to reply to your queries. In a few days, we will launch with connections built to each and every one of the members of Parliament (MPs of the Lok Sabha). In some cases, there are no email addresses available - and we are writing to those MPs asking for their email addresses - and in such cases fax numbers and phone numbers are provided on Whypoll (www.whypoll.org). This service will be extended in the coming months to Rajya Sabha MPs, Members of Legislative Assemblies (MLAs) and then bureaucrats in charge of services like the police and other civic bodies. Whypoll is also working to build a range of web-based and mobile-based solutions and applications that can fill a gap in governance and connect us to those who govern and governance solutions more effectively. One of the biggest campaigns that we are launching is a 100,000 signature gathering initiative to focus on safety for women in Delhi - the highlight of this would be the launch of a mobile based application to connect policing and the citizen for make women safer in Delhi. The mobile app for women's safety will be launched first in Delhi and then across India.
