We envision a world where all women – in particular women from underprivileged contexts – enjoy full citizenship, exercise control over their lives and bodies, pursue a profession with dignity, and generate wealth and value for all.

Unpaid household and care work shouldn’t be assigned to just one gender. Let’s make a shared responsibility of everyone.

For so many young girls, their first period is met with confusion, fear, and silence. But it doesn't have to be.

Help break the taboo around periods with open conversations. Turn young girls’ anxiety into comfort and understanding. And make sure no girl has to face her first period feeling alone or afraid.

Let’s normalise the period talk. Together, we can make a for all the menstruating people.

One in five girls (20%) in India drop out of school due to lack of menstrual education and access to sanitary products.

This lack of awareness about menstruation and social taboos, limit girls’ and women’s lives. Restrictions like cooking, visiting places of worship, taking part in social activities and sleeping in isolated areas continue to persist.

These practices reinforce women and girls’ subordination and dependency, as they are forced to internalise shame, conceal their bodies, and limit their own agency in public spaces, often leading to reduced access to education and increased vulnerability to gender-based violence.

This , speak up about the existing inequities when it comes to periods and access to menstrual hygiene for all. By replacing stigma with education. And treating periods as just another bodily function that affects half the population.
