डॉ. श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी रिसर्च फाउंडेशन (SPMRF) ने “Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s Idea of Bharat and Abrogation of Article 370” विषय पर एक विचारोत्तेजक चर्चा का आयोजन किया। कार्यक्रम में माननीय श्री सुधांशु त्रिवेदी जी, सांसद (राज्यसभा), एवं पद्मश्री श्री आर. वी. एस. मणि जी, पूर्व अवर सचिव, गृह मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार ने अपने विचार साझा किए। इस अवसर पर SPMRF की Monologue Series के अंतर्गत The Big Picture: Relevance of FCRA Amendment Bill 2026 का लोकार्पण भी किया गया।

माननीय श्री Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi जी, सांसद (राज्यसभा), ने कहा कि अनुच्छेद 370 का निरस्तीकरण डॉ. मुखर्जी के राष्ट्रवादी संकल्प को साकार करने वाला ऐतिहासिक निर्णय है, जिसने भारत के संवैधानिक एकीकरण को नई दिशा दी।

पद्मश्री श्री आर. वी. एस. मणि जी, पूर्व अवर सचिव, गृह मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार, ने FCRA को राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा और संप्रभुता की दृष्टि से अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण बताते हुए इसे राष्ट्रहित को सुदृढ़ करने वाला निर्णायक कदम बताया।

SPMRF के निदेशक श्री Binay Kumar Singh जी ने अपने संबोधन में जनसंघ के वैचारिक दृष्टिकोण, विदेशी फंडिंग के प्रभाव, आत्मनिर्भरता की अवधारणा तथा अनुच्छेद 370 के निरस्तीकरण को डॉ. श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी के स्वप्न की ऐतिहासिक पूर्ति बताया।

Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation (SPMRF), under the banner of Ashoka Road Thought Collective, successfully organised a discussion on "Democracy & Nation Building" on 1 August 2026 at 9 Ashoka Road, New Delhi.

The discussion featured Smt. Anita Subhadarshini Ji, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Aska Parliamentary Constituency, Odisha, and Shri Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar Ji, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Bareilly Parliamentary Constituency, Uttar Pradesh. The speakers reflected on the role of democracy, political leadership and responsible citizenship in the continuous process of Rashtra Nirman, highlighting the importance of strong institutions, public participation and collective national purpose.

The programme commenced with opening remarks by Dr. Shivesh Pratap Ji, Senior Research Fellow, SPMRF, and concluded with closing remarks by Shri Binay Kumar Singh Ji, Director, SPMRF.
