Education should never stop because of circumstance.

At Smile Foundation’s Education Centre in Gurugram, children receive the support they need to stay connected with learning, strengthen their academic foundation and grow in confidence.

Supported by R1 RCM, the centre works with children from communities where access to quality education can often be challenging. Along with academic support, children take part in creative activities, build new skills and get opportunities to express themselves.

A key focus is also on helping children remain connected to school. Regular attendance, support with studies and encouragement from teachers and families help children participate with greater confidence in the classroom.

Through this partnership, Smile Foundation and R1 RCM continue to help children move forward in their education, one day and one opportunity at a time.

From the nutrition of a mother to a child’s first foods, the early years lay an important foundation for growth and development.

In Jaipur, Smile Foundation organised a maternal and child nutrition programme that brought together expectant mothers and young children at the Anganwadi, with Godh Bharai and Annaprashan marking important milestones from pregnancy through the early years.

For expectant mothers, the programme focused on maternal nutrition, antenatal care and informed dietary choices during pregnancy. For young children, Annaprashan marked an important transition to complementary feeding, creating an opportunity to discuss diverse and nutritious foods during the first 1,000 days.

As part of POSHAN Maah 2026, the programme brought together nutrition awareness, maternal and child health, and community participation through the Anganwadi.

Celebrating the Unsung Heroes Who Keep India Moving | Driver’s Day 2026

Every day, truck drivers keep India moving, connecting communities, supporting businesses, and powering economic growth. Their dedication and resilience form the backbone of our economy.

To recognize and celebrate their contribution, Bridgestone India, through the Sarthi Support Centre Initiative in partnership with Smile Foundation, honoured the trucking community through a 4-day Driver’s Day Observation Programme in Indore, bringing together 230 truck drivers and a diverse network of local stakeholders to support their wellbeing and recognize their dedication.

The programme offered health check-ups, expert consultations, road safety and wellbeing sessions, access to welfare information, and opportunities for community engagement. Beyond the services provided, it served as a platform to acknowledge the efforts and sacrifices of drivers who spend long hours on the road, often away from their families, to keep the nation moving.

Through interactions, drivers shared that the initiative helped them better understand their health, welfare benefits, safer driving practices, and a stronger sense of appreciation for the role they play every day.

Taking Nutrition Awareness to Communities in the River Islands of Assam

As India observes Rashtriya Poshan Maah, Smile Foundation is contributing to the larger national effort to strengthen nutrition and preventive health at the community level.

Women and children came together to learn about balanced diets, nutritious food choices and simple everyday practices that can support better health and well-being.

In Dhalleke, Moga, a conversation on hygiene and nutrition brought women, mothers and children together to talk about some of the choices that can shape a family’s health.

As part of Smile Foundation’s Integrated Community Development Project, the community was made aware of simple yet important practices such as proper handwashing and how it can help prevent common infections. Women were guided on recognising signs of anaemia, the importance of Iron-Folic Acid tablets and including iron-rich foods in their diets. Pregnant and lactating mothers were also guided on the role of a nutritious diet, early initiation of breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months.

A better understanding of nutrition, hygiene and maternal care can help families and communities make informed choices and share this knowledge within their homes.
