AIMA conducted a Capacity Building Programme on Contractual Disputes, Arbitration and Conciliation in two batches from 9th–11th March and 16th–18th March 2026 at the GAIL Training Institute. The programme focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of contract management, dispute prevention, and resolution in public procurement and infrastructure projects.
The sessions covered contract structures, drafting, key terms and conditions, performance management, handling breaches, and managing variations. The participants also examined financial security, risk mitigation, insurance aspects, and compliance requirements.
Comprehensive coverage of conflict avoidance and dispute resolution was provided through negotiation, mediation, conciliation, and adjudication, supported by case studies and practical exercises.
The programme concluded with participants gaining practical insights and tools to manage contracts effectively, minimise disputes, and improve project outcomes, with over 35 participants attending each batch.
