Early Life
Born and brought up in New Delhi, I was always inclined towards music, In 1995, I pu
rsued music and I performed in shows where I used to sing and I was a percussionist. From the year 2014, I became a social worker and activist of Beti bachao abhiyaan Haryana for which I also got recognition from our CM Manohar Lal Khattar(Haryana)
And from the year 2017, I started my own NGO- KHUSHI FOUNDATION SMILE FOREVER under which - We support and provide a platform to talent in music because we believe that it is a therapy for community engagement and an opportunity for all to tell their story. Music transcends all boundaries of caste, community, language, state and status. It unites diverse communities into one chord of melody. It provides a healing touch to all. Education
We are supporting out of school children and Adult education. We believe that the whole purpose of education is to provide a life skill to the child. Once you educate a child, you educate a family. Most often the child becomes the first generation learner in his family and that is a very big step towards making an aware citizen and in this field I have also been appreciated by various organizations. HEALTH AND MEDICAL FIELD
We have also organized various blood donation camps, health checkup camps. And in this Covid-19 pandemic we have also organized successful Vaccination Camp for covid-19 vaccination. Khushi Foundation Smile Forever
Founder's Message
It is in giving that we receive. Adult Education, women empowerment, and talent enhancement – these three phrases are the pillars of the Khushi Foundation. A person’s most useful asset is not a head full of knowledge, but a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen and a hand willing to help others. Starting Khushi Foundation was not about being a philanthropist but to fulfill a dream of creating a platform to help the less fortunate. The transition from my corporate role to dedicating my energies to the foundation has been a satisfying journey so far. What is needed is to create trust. Whether it is providing education or facilitating women empowerment or nurturing young talent, the foundation’s journey in all these three fields has been very satisfying. As social innovators, we’ve got to be visionaries, tenacious, and courageous. We cannot give up finding innovative solutions within our limited capacity to uplift and support the unseen talent of any kind. My happy moments are when children from our school at uttrakhand. confidently recite poems, when women from our tailoring center start earning and become self-reliant and when a 40-year-old adult learns to read and write. It is this bond with them and the growing belief in their own ability that brings me great joy and solace! I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep…
