Everest Club (EC), Dailekh is one of the leading non-governmental organizations of Bhery regions and was establi
shed in 1993 as a nonprofit organization in Dailekh District administration office. The Everest Club (EC) was established by local youths with aim to create civilized and self reliance Society. It has been working in various sectors like Social mobilization, Organizational development, Income generation, Capacity development, Entrepreneurship development, appropriate technology transformation, Renewal energy promotion, Sustainable soil management technology promotion, Marketing, infrastructure, Environment conservation & WASH promotion by collaborating with different donors: (RERL/DEES Dailekh,SCI Suaahara, SSMP Helvetas, LINK Helvetas, LILI Helvetas, LWF Nepal/Nepal WASH alliance, PAF Nepal, RAP, SNV Nepal, Second Small Town Project MEDEP/APSO Surkhet in 1 Municipality and 35 VDCs of Dailekh District. Surkhet to Dailekh road corridor and Surkhet to Kalikot road corridor is also program area of the NGO for agriculture based marketing to implement the farmer business school and business plan preparation. From the beginning, it has been working to implement sustainable development with primary focus on the deprived and disadvantaged community by qualified, experienced professional and dedicated young hands. Now NGO is working for creation of self- reliance society through improve their (Focused community) socio-economic status. Everest Club (EC) Dailekh has strategic plan and annual plan to fulfill that plans. It has different policies such as; Human resource management policies and guideline, Admin and Finance management policies and guideline, planning monitoring and supervision policies and guideline, social mobilization policies and guideline, safeguard policies and guideline, Humanitarian accountability partnership frame work, code of conduct and ethics. The Everest Club (EC) Dailek has set own organization's core value to control and guided to the all general member and staffs with primarily focused on Gender, social inclusiveness and participation, transparency and accountability, environment friendly and sustainable development & Social justice. . In addition, the Everest Club (EC) Dailekh has qualified, dedicated and experienced manpower for project development, implementation, lobby and advocacy on the issues agriculture promotion, marketing, human rights, social Mobilization, gender and environmental issues at the district level. It has also own office, computers, email internet facilities and office equipments for achieving the organization goal and objectives. The Everest club, Dailekh gives the high priority in it's all program for gender, environment, human rights, sanitation and hygiene as a cross-cutting theme.
