Hyperion Racing Hyperion Racing is a team from Pillai Institute Of Information Technology with the aim of making Formula Student cars for competitions every year.

2013 - Hyperion Racing Team was formed by a group of automobile enthusiasts.

2014 - We had participated in Formula Student Germany in July at the famous Hockenheimring.

2015 - We will be participating in Formula Student India in January at the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore. We are a team of students from Mechanical, Automobile and Electronics engineering as of now. On 13th January 2014, we par

ticipated in a qualifying quiz for Formula Student Germany and were selected to participate in its 2014 edition. When this opportunity to design a race car beckoned we grabbed it and realised that this was not some far-fetched dream. We designed and manufactured most of the components in our race car - HRT01. We have gained substantial knowledge from Formula Student Germany 2014 and will put it to best of our efforts in HRT01. Our aim is to be amongst the best Formula Student teams in India.
