Neurodiversity Rehabilitation Center (NRC) proudly hosted a specialized professional development workshop on “Advanced Clinical Reasoning and Best Practices for Multidisciplinary Autism Intervention Teams.”

The session was led by Ms. Alliya Batool Haidery, CEO of Pakistan Centre for Autism (PCA), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-USA), International Behavior Analyst (IBA), MSc Physiotherapist, and MA Special Education professional with nearly 20 years of experience in autism, rehabilitation, inclusion, and multidisciplinary intervention.

Through engaging discussions, case-based learning, and evidence-based approaches, our Behavior Therapy (BT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy (ST), and Psychology teams strengthened their understanding of advanced clinical reasoning, behavior management strategies, interdisciplinary collaboration, goal setting, and effective intervention planning to enhance therapy outcomes.

This initiative reflects NRC’s unwavering commitment to professional growth, clinical excellence, and the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services for individuals with autism and developmental differences.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Aliya Haidery for sharing her valuable expertise, insights, and practical knowledge, inspiring our team to continue striving for excellence and innovation in clinical practice.

At NRC, we provide rehabilitation services to children with autism. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with our clinical team and gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional rehabilitation setting.

The visit focused on strengthening collaboration, sharing insights, and exploring innovative approaches to support and empower persons with disabilities through inclusive rehabilitation and development initiatives. Together, we move forward towards a more accessible and empowered future for all.

These beneficiaries are now progressing toward financial independence and sustainable livelihoods, contributing meaningfully to their households and communities.

We were honored to welcome Mr. Fayyaz Hussain Rahoojo, Director of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Development Program (BBSHRDP), to the Neurodiversity Rehabilitation Center Karachi.

During his visit, Mr. Rahoojo toured our therapy units and observed ongoing sessions in:

✔️ Speech Therapy
✔️ Behavioral Therapy
✔️ Psychological Support Services

His engagement with our therapists and interest in our multidisciplinary rehabilitation approach encourage our mission to build a more inclusive and supportive environment for children with neurodiverse needs.
