President of Laser Industries Association of India Dr.Lalit Kumar and Vice President Mr.Jignesh Chumakia Meets Economy and Innovation Minister of Lithuania Mr.Edvinas Griksas to Strengthen Laser Technology Cooperation.

The President of the Laser Industries Association of India held a strategic meeting with the Minister of Lithuania to discuss bilateral cooperation in advanced laser technologies.

During the meeting, both sides explored opportunities for collaboration in industrial laser applications, research and development, manufacturing innovation, and technology exchange programs between India and Lithuania.

Lithuania is globally recognized for its strong expertise in photonics and laser research, and the discussion focused on building partnerships between companies, research institutions, and technology providers from both nations.

The meeting marks a significant step toward strengthening India–Lithuania relations in the field of advanced laser and photonics technologies, opening new avenues for industrial growth and global collaboration.

Laser Industries Association of India (LIAI) is founded on 10th October 2019 at Mumbai and was registered as a trade association to represent specifically the Indian Laser Industry. As a national industry body, Laser Industries Association of India (LIAI) speaks to the resurgent and composed face of Laser industry in India. The estimated business revenue from this sector which includes manufacturing, trading, components and other ancillary products and services is around Rs.700 crores out which Rs.50 crores account for exports. Indian laser industry have been one of the key contributors in the growth story of the Indian advance engineering industry and therefore the association will put all efforts to understand the need for up-gradation of the manufacturing, designing, marketing and banking skills that are required by the industry and try to help members grow corresponding with the growth of the laser industry. The association is putting efforts to co-ordinate with several agencies, component suppliers etc. to provide necessary knowledge that could be imparted to the members under a single roof program that would help both the supplier as well the industry in order to save time and money.
