J&K State SGF Core Committee Meeting Held at Srinagar

Srinagar, September 23, 2025:
The Core Committee Meeting of the Indian Scout and Guide Fellowship, Jammu & Kashmir, was convened today at Khan Manzil, Srinagar, under the chairmanship of Shri N. A. Khan, President-in-Chief.
During the meeting, the members deliberated on various key issues concerning the Fellowship and outlined future plans and activities aimed at further strengthening the movement across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
On this significant occasion, the First J&K State SGF Scarf was formally presented. Mr. Muhammad Akram Rahi, State Secretary, presented the State SGF Scarf, marking a historic milestone in the journey of the Fellowship.
In his address, Shri N. A. Khan emphasized the vital role of the Scout and Guide Fellowship in fostering the values of fellowship, community service, and volunteerism. He remarked that “the Fellowship must continue to serve as a bridge between experienced Scouts/Guides and the younger generation, ensuring that the spirit of Scouting remains alive and vibrant in society.”
The meeting concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. A. R. Khan, Vice President (Coordination), who expressed gratitude to the Chair and the members for their valuable insights, active participation, and continued commitment to the cause of the Fellowship.
