*Mark Martial Arts Nashik Honours Rural and Adivasi Judo Champions on National Sports Day 2026*
*Nashik- August 29, 2026* — On the occasion of National Sports Day, Mark Martial Arts, Nashik, issued a special tribute celebrating the grit and triumphs of its underprivileged rural, tribal (Adivasi), and urban judo athletes who overcame severe financial barriers to achieve state and national glory.
Founded with the mission to provide elite coaching and moral support to athletes unable to afford expensive academy or association fees, the academy highlighted its historic journey from humble beginnings to national-level selection camps."
Our goal has always been to remove the financial barricades blocking talented youth from reaching their life goals," said *Chief Coach Mohammed Arif Khan*, an N.S.NIS Patiala alumnus and recipient of the Government of India's prestigious National Youth Award. "When we started in Igatpuri, we had no professional infrastructure. Our students trained relentlessly on just four basic cotton mats."
Despite the lack of resources, the academy produced exceptional results:
*National Milestones:* In 1999, *Chanda Sudham Sharma* secured a historic selection for the National Judo Selection Camp at Datia, Madhya Pradesh. In 2004, *Sneha Rokde* advanced through the Maharashtra Rajya Judo Association to compete at the Sub-Junior National Judo Championship selection in Goa.
*State and University Laurels:* The academy’s roll of honour includes *Sneha Rokde* (State Gold, 2004), *Harshala Daulat Suryawanshi* (Pune University Gold, 2004; State DSO Silver & Bronze), *Fardin Ayaz Khan* (State Silver, 2004), Sonal *Dalpat Rathod* (State Bronze, 2004), and *Baidwal Narendra Singh* (Mumbai University Bronze, 2000).
The management expressed deep gratitude to *Coach Mohammed Parvez Khan* (Black Belt 1st Dan) and the *Chief Coach Mohammed Arif Khan* for their on-ground dedication, and to the parents of the athletes for keeping their absolute faith in the academy's training system. Mark Martial Arts continues its mission to scout, support, and shape the next generation of grassroots martial artists in the Nashik region.

*नाशिक, महाराष्ट्र – २९ ऑगस्ट २०२६* — राष्ट्रीय क्रीडा दिनाचे औचित्य साधून, मार्क मार्शल आर्ट्स, नाशिक तर्फे आर्थिक अडचणींवर मात करून राज्य व राष्ट्रीय पातळीवर यश संपादन करणाऱ्या ग्रामीण, आदिवासी आणि वंचित शहरी जुडो खेळाडूंच्या संघर्षाला आणि यशाला विशेष मानवंदना देण्यात आली.
असोसिएशन किंवा मोठ्या अकॅडमीची फी परवडत नसलेल्या, पण जीवनात काहीतरी करून दाखवण्याची जिद्द असलेल्या खेळाडूंना दर्जेदार प्रशिक्षण आणि नैतिक पाठबळ देण्याच्या उद्देशाने या संस्थेची स्थापना झाली. आज राष्ट्रीय क्रीडा दिनी संस्थेने आपल्या अत्यंत खडतर आणि अभिमानास्पद प्रवासाला उजाळा दिला.
मार्क मार्शल आर्ट्सचे संस्थापक आणि *मुख्य प्रशिक्षक मोहम्मद आरिफ खान* [ NSNIS (C.C) पटियालाचे माजी विद्यार्थी आणि भारत सरकारचे राष्ट्रीय युवा पुरस्कार विजेते ] म्हणाले, "प्रतिभावान तरुणांच्या मार्गात आर्थिक परिस्थिती हा कधीही अडथळा ठरू नये, हेच आमचे ध्येय आहे. आम्ही जेव्हा इगतपुरीमध्ये सुरुवात केली, तेव्हा आमच्याकडे कोणत्याही आधुनिक सुविधा नव्हत्या. आमच्या मुलांनी केवळ चार साध्या कॉटन मॅट्सवर अहोरात्र मेहनत घेतली."
अपुऱ्या सुविधा असूनही या खेळाडूंनी ऐतिहासिक कामगिरी करून दाखवली:
*राष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील यश:* १९९९ मध्ये *चंदा सुदाम शर्मा* हिची दतिया (मध्य प्रदेश) येथील राष्ट्रीय जुडो निवड शिबिरासाठी निवड झाली होती. तसेच, २००४ मध्ये *स्नेहा रोकडे* हिने महाराष्ट्र राज्य जुडो असोसिएशनतर्फे खेळताना गोवा येथील सब-ज्युनिअर नॅशनल जुडो चॅम्पियनशिपच्या राष्ट्रीय निवड चाचणीपर्यंत धडक मारली.
*राज्य आणि विद्यापीठ पातळीवरील पदके*: अकॅडमीच्या गौरवशाली यादीत *स्नेहा रोकडे* (राज्य सुवर्णपदक, २००४), *हर्षला दौलत सूर्यवंशी* (पुणे विद्यापीठ सुवर्णपदक, २००४; राज्य DSO रौप्य आणि कांस्यपदक), *फर्दीन अयाज खान* (राज्य रौप्यपदक, २००४), *सोनल दलपत राठोड* (राज्य कांस्यपदक, २००४), आणि *बैदवाल नरेंद्र सिंग* (मुंबई विद्यापीठ कांस्यपदक, २०००) यांचा समावेश आहे.
मार्क मार्शल आर्ट्सने मैदानावर मुलांकडून कठोर सराव करून घेणारे *प्रशिक्षक मोहम्मद परवेझ खान* (ब्लॅक बेल्ट १ ला डॅन) *मुख्य प्रशिक्षक मोहम्मद आरिफ खान* यांच्या योगदानाबद्दल कृतज्ञता व्यक्त केली. तसेच, आपल्या मुलांच्या स्वप्नांवर आणि अकॅडमीच्या मार्गदर्शनावर अढळ विश्वास ठेवल्याबद्दल सर्व पालकांचे विशेष आभार मानले. नाशिक परिसरातील ग्रामीण व आदिवासी भागातील नवोदित मार्शल आर्ट्स खेळाडूंना शोधणे आणि त्यांना घडवणे, हे कार्य संस्था अविरतपणे सुरू ठेवेल.
