🌿 Drive 447 | Friendship Day Special💚

What better way to celebrate Friendship Day than by spending it with our oldest and most selfless friend - Nature.

Today, in collaboration with Vrukshavalli Foundation, Nashik Ploggers conducted a tree plantation drive at Chamar Leni, where we planted 10 large native saplings on the hill.

Nature has always been there for us—offering clean air, shade, water, and life without expecting anything in return. This Friendship Day, instead of merely celebrating our bond with nature, we chose to strengthen it.

Every sapling planted today is more than just a tree. It is a promise to protect, nurture, and give back to the friend that has always stood by us. As these roots grow deeper into the soil, may our friendship with nature grow stronger with every passing year.

Because the greatest friendships are the ones that continue to give life.

Drive 446 | Tree Plantation Drive

Today, Nashik Ploggers, along with Vrukshavalli Foundation and the Spandan Team from SIOM Nashik, conducted a Tree Plantation Drive at Chamar Leni from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

With the support of 80+ volunteers, we successfully planted 250+ Indian-origin native saplings, taking another meaningful step towards restoring our green cover. 💚

Monsoon is the season when tree plantation activities are at their peak, and it's wonderful to see so many people stepping forward. However, we request everyone to focus on genuine plantation, not just plantation for photographs.

🌿 Plant only as many saplings as you can nurture. A tree's journey begins long after the plantation day. It requires regular care, protection, watering, and monitoring for at least the next 5 years to ensure it survives and grows.

Tree plantation is never a one-day event. It involves months of planning before the plantation and years of care afterward. The real impact lies not in the number of saplings planted, but in the number of trees that continue to thrive.

Let's plant responsibly, nurture consistently, and leave behind a greener legacy. 🌍💚

Planting a sapling is just one day. Growing it into a tree takes years. 🌱➡️🌳

Drive No. 445 at Chamar Leni focused on pre-plantation—the most overlooked yet crucial stage of afforestation. Along with Vrukshavalli Foundation and around 25 volunteers, we prepared plantation pits that will capture rainwater, improve groundwater percolation, reduce soil erosion, and provide the moisture needed for native Indian saplings to survive.

At Nashik Ploggers, we believe pre-plantation and post-plantation are the real plantation. The photo lasts a moment, but the preparation and care determine whether a tree lives for decades.

On Sunday, 5th July 2026, Nashik Ploggers successfully conducted Drive No. 444 at the historic Ramshej Fort, with the enthusiastic participation from the volunteers.🤝🔥

Despite the challenging terrain, the team worked together with great energy and dedication to clean the surroundings by collecting litter left behind by visitors. The drive not only helped restore the natural beauty of the fort but also served as a reminder of the importance of responsible tourism and protecting our heritage sites. ♻️🚯

During the drive, we also had the opportunity to interact with Krishnaraaj Mahadik, Krishnaraaj Mahadik who was present at Ramshej Fort for a trekking event. He appreciated the commitment of our volunteers and acknowledged Nashik Ploggers' consistent environmental efforts over the past seven years.

We sincerely thank all the volunteers for dedicating their Sunday morning to this meaningful cause. Together, we continue to protect our environment—one drive at a time. 💚✨
