RECONNECT WITH EARTH :: Earth Day 2026

Here’s a reminder to reconnect with the earth.

Not through grand gestures or big pledges.
Just the small everyday habits we quietly drifted from.

The walk we replaced with a cab. The meal cooked from what’s in season. The sky we forgot to look up at. The birds we stopped noticing.

Small things. But they kept us rooted to the earth we belong to.

Some of our strongest memories are from outside.
Mud on our hands. Grass under our feet. That one tree we climbed every single day.
That connection to the earth — it wasn’t just childhood fun.
It was the reason we cared.
But today’s children are growing up indoors.
And if they never feel it, how will they ever fight for it?

This Earth Day, DJJS Sanrakshan brings back Children for Earth.
Under it, we launch Prakriti Ki Pathshala — a series of workshops taking children back to the earth. Not to teach them about nature. But to let nature teach them.

Because the children who grow up knowing the earth will be the ones who protect it.
