Social Service at Kaisu Buddha Vihara

Today, the inmates of Dhamma Shelter Home actively participated in a social service program at Kaisu Buddha Vihara. The inmates voluntarily engaged in cleaning and maintenance activities within the vihara premises, contributing their time and effort towards preserving the sanctity and cleanliness of this revered place of worship.
Such activities not only promote community service and social responsibility but also help the inmates develop a sense of dignity, discipline, teamwork, and belonging. The program reflects the spirit of compassion, gratitude, and selfless service that forms the foundation of the Buddha's teachings.
We express our sincere appreciation to everyone who supported and encouraged this meaningful initiative. May these wholesome deeds bring happiness and well-being to all beings.

Rescue of an Abandoned Elderly Woman in Namsai

This elderly woman was found abandoned and living in distress in Namsai Township. Upon receiving information, volunteers and staff of Dhamma Aid Foundation immediately reached out, rescued her, and provided safe transportation to Dhamma Shelter Home.
At the shelter, she was given food, clothing, care, and a safe place to live with dignity. This rescue reflects our commitment to serving the helpless, homeless, and abandoned members of our society.

We thank all our volunteers, supporters, and well-wishers who make such humanitarian work possible.

We are pleased to share that the One-Day Handholding Training Program on Mushroom Cultivation 🍄 for the Empowerment & Upliftment of Rural Unemployed Youth has been successfully conducted on 07 April 2026 at Happy Life Vision Rehabilitation Centre.
The program was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Namsai in collaboration with Dhamma Aid Foundation, with the aim of promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities through mushroom cultivation.

👩‍🏫 We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed Resource Person, Dr. Madhumita Sonowal Bora, for sharing valuable scientific knowledge and practical insights.
