Mother Teresa Rural Development Society

A meeting was conducted with the Women's Self-Help Group (SHG) members from Chinna Narayanapuram village. The village has six SHGs with a total of 69 members, of whom 45 attended the meeting.

The discussion focused on SHG discipline, proper group management, maintenance of records and books, and loan procedures. Members were instructed that all SHGs should hold their meetings together on the scheduled meeting day and make their payments at the office on the same day. It was clearly explained that failure to follow these guidelines may result in the settlement or closure of the concerned SHGs.

All members agreed to these rules and regulations and signed the resolution documents. They assured that they would strictly follow the guidelines in the future and prevent similar issues from occurring. They also stated that if they failed to comply with the rules, the organization could take appropriate action against their groups.

*Sustainable Agriculture*

A farmer from Thummalagudem belonging to Ramannapeta Farmers Cooperative Society shares his experience with the poly house established by Mother Teresa Rural Development Society (MTRDS). With the support provided by MTRDS, the farmer is successfully practicing organic cultivation using the poly house method.

Inside the poly house, different vegetables such as okra, beans, cucumber, brinjal, and radish are being cultivated through organic farming practices. This initiative helps farmers adopt sustainable agricultural methods, improve crop quality, and achieve better productivity.

MTRDS continues to support farmers by introducing innovative farming techniques and encouraging eco-friendly agricultural practices for sustainable livelihoods.
