Kundalpur Mahotsav - 2026
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira, we participated in the Kundalpur Mahotsav 2026 held on 30 April was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister Shrawan Kumar and Hon’ble Tourism, Art, Culture & Youth Minister Arun Shankar Prasad, marking the beginning of a spiritually vibrant and culturally significant event.
Inspired by Lord Mahavira’s eternal message of ahimsa, compassion, and coexistence with all living beings, the team of Magadh Nature Conservation Society set up a Nature Education Stall during the Mahotsav. The stall aimed to strengthen the bond between people and nature by highlighting the deep relationship between Mahavira’s teachings and biodiversity conservation.
The stall showcased Bihar’s rich biodiversity, highlighted our ongoing conservation and environmental education programs, and facilitated discussions on biodiversity conservation and future collaborative initiatives with institutions and stakeholders. Meaningful interactions with visitors and partner organizations opened new possibilities to further advance environmental conservation and ecological education efforts.
We are grateful that our nature education stall was visited by Shri Shrawan Kumar, Hon’ble Minister of Rural Development and Transport, along with Hon’ble Tourism, Art, Culture & Youth Minister Shri Arun Shankar Prasad. The stall also welcomed school children, street play teams, officials, Jain devotees, teachers, and local villagers, all of whom actively engaged with our team and showed keen interest in learning more about our work, conservation initiatives, and mission of promoting harmony between nature and society
