Follow the Path of the " Light of Asia" : Celebrated Buddha Purnima 2025 in Pawapuri : A Day of Peace, Reflection and Spiritual
INDIATOURISM Patna, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India successfully celebrated " BUDDHA PURNIMA-2025" on 12th May 2025 in association with ABTO and Yuva Tourism Club , Guide and Tourism Stakeholders of Pawapuri, Rajgir and Nalanda.
In this celebration, around 55 students participated and got aware about the tourism of India through our rich heritages.
On this occasion, with more than 55 participants, among the students, Teachers, Guide and Stakeholders in this meeting, We organised 4 programmes as under :
1) A Small Seminar was also held at B.Ed. College and Tirthankar Mahaveer Vidya Mandir at Pawapuri with the topic of " India is a cultural Centre of the World"
2) Swachhata Aviyan from Jal Mandir to Medical College in Pawapuri.
3) Heritage Walk in Lotus Temple and Buddha Temple in Tetrama Village
4) Three Historical Places Plantation "Ek Ped Maa Ke Nam " near Lotus Temple, B. Ed. College and near the Ancient Largest Statue of Lord Buddha in Tetrama Village.
Under this celebration, a day tour programme to Heritage Sites of Tetrama Village at Pawapuri and around was arranged for Tourism Stakeholders. A team of 50 students, guides, stakeholders, Villagers, Tourist etc. participated in this heritage Walk and Sawachhata Aviyan at Pawapuri & around. During this tour, participants visited various heritage sites such as - Tetrama Village, Samosaran Temple, Lotus Temple, Swetamber and Digambar Jain Temples, etc.
Apart from it, in this heritage tour programme, about 20 Domestic Tourist, Teachers, Socialist, Farmers etc. have also participated and supported in this heritage walk On the Occasion of Buddha Purnima today.
