Where do these exquisite colours come from?
This is one of the questions I am asked most often.
The answer lies in the forests and hills surrounding my home in Nainital, where nature generously offers the botanical treasures that inspire my eco-printed textiles. Every shade you see is derived from plants gathered from the Himalayan landscape.
This handcrafted silk saree has been naturally dyed using Himalayan Madder Root, a remarkable plant whose roots yield rich shades of crimson, terracotta, rust, and glowing orange. The final hue is influenced by the mordanting process, making each creation uniquely beautiful.
Every leaf imprint, every tonal variation, and every organic mark tells a story of nature, craftsmanship, and time-honoured textile traditions. No two eco-printed sarees are ever identical—each is a one-of-a-kind wearable artwork.
