My Sincere and Humble Appeal to all Kashmiri Pandits
It is my earnest request to all affluent individuals,Donors , organisations, and trusts to come forward and seriously think about the upliftment, betterment and welfare of the poor and needy sections of our society.
Brutal killings, loot, arson, r**e, and the burning of homes, shrines, and temples — along with continuous harassment and atrocities by terrorists — forced the Kashmiri Pandit community to leave our homeland. We were compelled to flee empty-handed, believing our exile would last only a short while and that we would soon return to our homeland.
Bhagwan Shree Ram spent just 14 years in exile, yet we, the Kashmiri Pandits, remain displaced even after 35 long years.
The Government’s meagre Relief assistance is insufficient even to meet daily needs, let alone cover essential expenses such as education, healthcare, and other basic necessities.
However, it fills our hearts with pride that no Kashmiri Pandit has ever resorted to begging. In times of distress and dire need, it has always been our own community — our Samaj — that has stood together to support and uplift one another.
While our community has made remarkable progress, and I wholeheartedly pray that Kashmiri Pandits continue to achieve success and leadership across the world, Simultaneously we must not forget that at least 20% of our people still need our collective attention.
Their Survival, Nutrition, Education, Healthcare, Upliftment, and Dignity depend on the compassion and responsibility of our community.
Our Society, Global Solace Society, is fully committed to this cause and is working in close coordination with other organisations to identify and support such deserving families, so that together, we can take meaningful steps for their betterment.
Let us join hands to ensure that no one among us is left behind.
We sincerely hope that community Stalwarts, Individuals,Donors and Philanthropists will extend their generous support and thoughtful contributions toward the upliftment and dignity of these families.
We must remember what Shree Krishna says in the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita:
“One should donate with care and wisdom, ensuring that one’s hard-earned resources reach the genuine and deserving, for such charity alone bears true fruit.”
