The centenary year celebrations of Shri Shradhanand Anathalaya (established in 1927) commenced on its foundation day, February 27th. A series of events and activities are planned throughout the year to mark this milestone 100th anniversary.

The inaugural event was graced by MLC and former Mayor, Shri Anilji Sole, along with four NMC Corporators: Smt Nidhi Telgote, Smt Ashwini Jhichkar, Shri Sanjay Ugale, and Shri Dilip Dive. A Satyanarayan Pooja was also performed in the esteemed presence of patrons, donors, and board members. Additionally, teachers of the orphanage students were felicitated during the event.

As a part of its Annual Diwali tradition, No. 2 MAH AIR SQN NCC, Nagpur, organised an Orphanage Visit on 18th October 2025 under the guidance of Wing Commander V. Deepika Rao, Commanding Officer, Flg Officer Harish Kutemate, ANO, WO Nikhil Nischay, Adjutant and other PI Staff.

During the visit, cadets interacted with the children, conducted various fun-filled activities and games, and spread festive cheer through the distribution of gifts and sweets.
