The Chitnavis Centre is very centrally located in Civil Lines, Nagpur. This is a project of Sir Gangadharrao Chitnavis Trust whose objectives include social welfare, protection of human rights, med
ical relief, education, promotion of art and culture and protection of the environment. The Trust is registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act. The Centre has been designed to host multiple & varied activities - which will include conferences, workshops, seminars, talks, discussion groups, and cultural activities such as art shows, films & music. The first phase will have conference halls, training rooms, an art gallery, a multi-cuisine restaurant and cafeteria, a library and a resource centre. The lawns can host large functions for about 2000 guests. It has a well-equipped kitchen. The conference halls and training rooms are equipped with very good quality audio visual facilities and wi-fi. The Centre will be open for membership with special benefits and some programmes for members.. Apart from its calendar of events, the Centre will hire-out premises for conferences and other such activities.
