**Late Ibrahim Pathan Paryavaran Purskar** Presented to Dr. Vijay Laxmanrao Ghugey**
On July 31st , 2025 — In a heartfelt ceremony held in Nagpur at Shrimant Baburo Dhanvate Sabhagruh , the Late Ibrahim Pathan Paryavaran Purskar conferred to Dr. Vijay Laxmanrao Ghugey by VANRAI Foundation in the presence of veteran Dr.Girish Gandhi,President,Vanrai Foundation,Mr.Balasaheb Kulkarni, Sr,Journalist,Mr.Ajay Patil ,President Big Cat Asiatic Society and Forest Guard organization with no. of dignitaries in recognition of his unwavering commitment to environmental education, block plantation initiatives, and wildlife conservation. The prestigious award honors individuals whose dedication to ecological integrity reflects the legacy of the renowned environmentalist Late Ibrahim Pathan.
For over two decades, Dr. Ghugey has tirelessly championed the cause of environmental stewardship across grassroots communities. His work in promoting environmental awareness through village-level campaigns, educational outreach, and experiential learning has made a lasting impact on countless individuals—especially youth and marginalized farmers. ३१ जुलै २०२५ रोजी नागपूर येथील श्रीमंत बाबुराव धनवटे सभागृहात भरलेल्या एका भावपूर्ण समारंभात डॉ विजय लक्ष्मणराव घुगे यांना इब्राहिम पठाण पर्यावरण पुरस्कार प्रदान करण्यात आला- वनराई फाउंडेशनच्या वतीने दिला जाणारा हा प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार पर्यावरण शिक्षण वृक्षलागवड आणि वन्यजीव संरक्षण क्षेत्रातील त्यांच्या दृढ आणि सातत्यपूर्ण योगदानाच्या गौरवार्थ देण्यात आला-
हा पुरस्कार डॉ घुगे यांना सन्माननीय उपस्थितीत प्रदान करण्यात आला कार्यक्रमाला वनराई फाउंडेशनचे अध्यक्ष आणि ज्येष्ठ पर्यावरणप्रेमी डॉ गिरीश गांधी ज्येष्ठ पत्रकार श्री बाळासाहेब कुलकर्णी बिग कॅट एशियाटिक सोसायटी आणि फॉरेस्ट गार्ड ऑर्गनायझेशन’चे अध्यक्ष श्री अजय पाटील यांच्यासह अनेक मान्यवर उपस्थित होते हा पुरस्कार त्या व्यक्तींना दिला जातो जे पर्यावरणीय मूल्यांशी बांधिलकी ठेऊन दिवंगत इब्राहिम पठाण यांच्या जीवनाच्या दृष्टीकोनाचे प्रतिक ठरतात
