Village adoption & Tribal welfare, with the help of government organizations, are some of the programs that can break the ice & contribute largely to the upliftment of the nation as a whole. Education for all & Child care: - Children are the foundation of the future of any nation. So, proper & complete education along with nutritious food & good health is the basic right of a child. Child labour is one of the major problems which are retarding their complete growth. Education for all, even for the illiterate adults & awareness campaign may solve the problem to a great extent. Awareness & Implementation of Quest: - Lions Quest is a comprehensive youth service initiative of Lions International/Lions Clubs International Foundation that teaches youth life skills. Lions Quest provides services and resources to educators and other adults who work with youth, ages 5-19. The goal is to help build responsible and resilient youth- providing them with the tools to face and overcome life’s difficulties and resist the lure of negative behaviors. Lions Quest Skills for Adolescence is specifically designed to promote the emotional and social development of 11-14 year old children. The grade-specific lesson materials can be used in a variety of school settings and with children of diverse ethnicity and socioeconomic status. Mission Quality Life: - Lions have the motto for the mission, “We Serve”. Quality of Life can be improved by serving the community through various medical camps like diabetes control, aids awareness, vaccination, free surgeries & dental check up camps, etc. Blindness prevention & Eye donation: - As we all know, “Sight First” is the most ambitious and successful signature project of Lions International ever. Thanks to Sight First, Lions have restored sight to 7.6 million people through cataract surgeries, prevented serious vision loss for 30 million people and improved eye care services for hundreds of millions. Promotion of Eyeball donation after death will restore sight in many young blind people. Image Building: - Being a social organization, serving & involving in the socio-economic problems become our duty. Various LCIF projects like Eye, Cancer & Tribal Hospitals, schools, public utilities, etc. can boost the Image of the organization along with the satisfaction of serving the society. Global Warming: - Global warming is one of the major concerns of the world today. It needs collective effort to control its effects. We have to stand united to cope with the problem. Meetings, projects, activities, best man for the job & management of other resources should be crystal clear in mind. Hence the clubs following the proposed Eight Point Program for Activity & Administration for the Lionistic year 2010-11 will get special recognitions & rewards. Excellence is the key: - Whatever you do, do it with all your conviction, zeal & Pleasure. Pleasure in the job put perfection in the work. Dedication, devotion & desire are what we need to excel. Awareness & Importance of time: - Time management is the most important ingredient in the recipe of success. It smoothens our path to success. Minimum paper work: - Following the instructions provided in manual and using internet as the media of communication, time, money & paper work can be saved to a great extent.
