Visit by MSME Training Centre, Durg, Chhattisgarh

Shri Pratipal Wahane (DGM) and Shri Abhinav Das (Manager) from the MSME Training Centre, Durg, Chhattisgarh, visited BMA on 30 April 2026 at 11:00 AM.

The agenda centred on mutual support mechanisms and how MSME Department schemes and government initiatives could benefit BMA members.

Factory Inauguration — Shree Jagdamba Hydropneumatic Inc.

EC members were invited to attend the inauguration of a new factory unit at Shree Jagdamba Hydropneumatic Inc., A-11/21, MIDC Industrial Area, Butibori, District Nagpur on 19 April 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

The inauguration was hosted by Shri Alok Pahune (Partner) and Shri Rajesh Nandanwar (Partner).

Calderys & CII Officials Visit BMA

Officials from Calderys India Refractories Ltd. and CII visited the BMA office on 16 April 2026.

Mr. Pradeep Khandelwal informed the gathering that Mr. Ashish Trivedi (CII Skilling Centre Policy Head, Delhi) visited PABTC, the BMA Training Centre building.

A detailed discussion was held among the following to explore collaboration under the CII COE model — combining the Chhindwara pattern with the BMA's vision:

Visit to Calderys India Refractories Ltd., Butibori

Calderys India Refractories Ltd., Butibori, organised a CII Membership Drive and interaction session with BMA members at its plant on 16 April 2026 at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Satyendra Kumar (Vice Chairman, Vidarbha Zonal Council, CII & DIOP, Calderys SWA) was appreciated for his initiative in hosting the visit at the Butibori plant. Mr. Subodh Dubey (Plant Head – Nagpur Hub) and his team shared insights on Calderys India's global business, Kaizen and safety practices, and CSR initiatives.

Meeting with Joint Commissioner of Labour

A meeting was held with Joint Commissioner of Labour, Shri K.V. Dahifalkar, at his office in Nagpur to discuss proposed labour laws.

Shri Dahifalkar expressed willingness to conduct an awareness session at the BMA Auditorium.

Visit to Gabriel India Ltd., Pune

Shri Ravi Singh (Joint Secretary) visited Gabriel India Ltd. and Fanuc Automation on 2 April 2026 at Pune.

Key takeaway: Significant opportunities exist for Butibori industries in the automobile parts sector.

An industry delegation from India is scheduled to visit 2–3 companies and attend an exhibition in China in July 2026.

CII Leadership Update

Shri Satyendra Kumar assumed charge as the CII Western Vice Chairman for the Vidarbha Zone on 8th March 2026. During the interaction, he emphasized his commitment to strengthening collaboration and fostering a close working relationship with BMA. Shri Pradeep Khandelwal (Patron) attended the meeting and shared valuable insights on industrial growth and cooperation in the region.

BMA Momentum 2026

BMA organized “BMA Momentum 2026 – Trade Fair cm Vendor Development Meet” from 6th to 8th March 2026 at the BMA premises, Butibori MIDC. The event served as a dynamic platform to promote industrial collaboration, vendor development, and stronger regional supply chain integration. It witnessed active participation from EC members, BMA members, and numerous visitors. The exhibition provided an opportunity for industries to showcase their capabilities, explore new partnerships, and strengthen business networks.
