Turning Research into Cleaner Air
We are proud to share a significant research achievement supported by SEER Bharat Foundation - an indigenous, Eco-friendly Air Filtration Technology developed to reduce airborne microbial contamination in indoor environments and grain storage facilities has received a Patent from the Indian Patent Office.
The innovative filtration system uses Green-Synthesised Silver, zinc oxide and copper oxide nanoparticles, produced using plant extracts, to help trap and control harmful bacteria and fungal spores.
Field trials conducted in classrooms and office spaces demonstrated a 72.7% reduction in airborne bacterial load and a 66.9% reduction in fungal levels, highlighting the technology’s potential for healthier indoor environments.
We are especially proud that two members of our founding team were part of a 4 member research team constituted by us, Prof. Darshan Talhande and Dr. Suvarna Patil, were part of this pioneering research.
From research laboratories to real-world applications, this achievement reflects our commitment to supporting Science, Innovation and Sustainable Solutions for a healthier future.
The technology has potential applications across schools, colleges, hospitals, offices, laboratories, warehouses and food storage facilities.
