📚🎒 Distribution of School Tiffin Boxes & Water Bottles

Gram Sewa Sangh Nagpur, through its Non-Formal School – Child Academy Nagpur, successfully organized a Distribution of School Tiffin Boxes and Water Bottles for children from underprivileged backgrounds.

This initiative was carried out with the generous support of the Japan Asian Association and Asian Friendship Society (JAFS), aiming to promote health, hygiene, and regular school attendance among children.

We were honored to welcome Mr. Masaru Hanashi, Director Incharge of Overseas Projects and International Exchange (JAFS), whose presence encouraged both children and staff and strengthened our commitment towards child welfare and education.

The smiles on the children’s faces reflected the true impact of this small yet meaningful step towards building a healthier and brighter future.

🧺 Grocery Distribution for Children’s Families ❤️
Gram Sewa Sangh, Nagpur successfully organized a grocery distribution program to support families of underprivileged children. Essential food items were provided to needy families, helping reduce their daily household burden and ensuring better nutrition for children.

The families expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely support, which brought relief and hope during difficult times.

📚 Child Academy – Making a Difference in Children’s Lives 🌱

With the generous support of our donors, Gram Sewa Sangh, Nagpur continues to run the Child Academy Program for children from poor and marginalized communities.

Through regular study support, homework assistance, and value-based learning, more than 100 children are improving their academic performance, confidence, and school attendance. Parents have also noticed positive changes in their children’s learning habits and behavior.

💧 Successful Borewell Handpump Drinking Water Projects 💧

We are delighted to share that Gram Sewa Sangh, Nagpur has successfully completed 4 Borewell Handpump Drinking Water Projects in the following villages:

📍 Salaimenda Village
📍 Mohgaon Village
📍 Savangi Village
📍 Khairi Panasee Village

These handpumps are now providing safe and clean drinking water to more than 1,200 community people, especially benefiting women, children, and elderly villagers. The projects have greatly reduced water scarcity and dependence on unsafe water sources.

The communities have shown great joy and gratitude and have taken responsibility for the proper use and maintenance of the handpumps.
