*🐯Kids for Tigers – “Playtime in Paradise” 🐯*
Saving Dreamz Foundation were delighted to organize an insightful and engaging Kids for Tigers Audio-Visual (AV) Session for the children of our Study Centre. The session was conducted by Mrs. Ekta Bhaiya Mam, whose knowledge and engaging presentation helped the children explore the fascinating world of wildlife, forests and biodiversity.
*Theme: “Playtime in Paradise”*
The session took children on an exciting journey through India’s incredible natural heritage and helped them understand why protecting our forests and wildlife is essential for maintaining the balance of nature.
The AV session covered a wide range of interesting and thought-provoking topics, including:
- Project Tiger – Understanding the importance of tiger conservation and the efforts taken to protect this magnificent species.
- “Jungle Nadi Ki Maa Hai” – Learning about the deep connection between forests and rivers and how healthy forests play a vital role in sustaining our water systems.
- The Magnificent Himalayas – Exploring the biodiversity and ecological importance of the Himalayan region.
- India’s Rich Riverine Forests – Understanding how forests along rivers support countless species and maintain healthy ecosystems.
- The Incredible World of Species – The children were introduced to different groups of wildlife, including: Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, Amphibians, Fish, Insects.
- Meet India’s Amazing Wildlife – The session introduced children to fascinating animals such as the Grey Wolf, Asiatic Elephant, Sloth Bear, Desert Fox, Langur and Gangetic River Dolphin, along with a discussion about wildlife from different parts of the world, including the Polar Bear.
The session also highlighted some of the major challenges faced by wildlife and forests today, particularly plastic pollution and jungle encroachment.
The children learned how plastic waste can harm animals and ecosystems and how the destruction and fragmentation of forests can threaten wildlife habitats.
Most importantly, they understood that conservation is not only the responsibility of governments and wildlife experts—it is a responsibility shared by every one of us.
The children were also introduced to several initiatives undertaken to protect tigers and their habitats. It was inspiring for them to learn that conservation efforts involve people from different sections of society—including children, communities, conservationists and even the Prime Minister of India.
For the children this was much more than an Audio-Visual presentation. It was an opportunity to discover the wonders of nature, understand the importance of biodiversity and think about how their everyday actions can contribute to protecting our environment.
We sincerely thank Mrs. Ekta Bhaiya Mam for conducting such an informative, engaging and inspiring session and for helping our children connect with the fascinating world of wildlife and conservation.
