🚍 Digital Literacy Mobile Education Bus Inauguration
📅 Date: 1st July 2026�🕝 Time: 2:30 PM�📍 Venue: Zilla Parishad Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Ordinance Factory, Amravati Road, Nagpur
President Rtn. Swapna Nair and the Rotary Club of Nagpur Elite proudly inaugurated the Digital Literacy Mobile Education Bus under the Score High Program, in association with Sahyadri Foundation. The project is led by Project Director Rtn. Devendra Kshirsagar.
The inauguration was graced by AG Rtn. Shubhankar Patil, PP Rtn. Mamta Jaiswal, Manish Jaiswal, VP Rtn. Sanjay Wankhede, Rtn. Alice Paul, Rtn. Sharada Ram, Shreyas Nair, and Shivaani Nair.
This state-of-the-art mobile classroom is equipped with a projector, laptops at every workstation, Wi-Fi, CCTV, air conditioning, a water dispenser, and fire safety equipment, creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging digital learning environment.
Believing that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and build a brighter future, the mobile education bus will be stationed at each school for 2–3 months, providing free basic computer education to students in areas where digital learning facilities are limited or unavailable.
The goal of this initiative is to help children develop essential computer skills, build their confidence, and prepare them for a digitally empowered future—creating a lasting impact on their lives and empowering them with skills for tomorrow.
The Rotary Club of Nagpur Elite is also committed to providing ongoing technical support and conducting personality development sessions to ensure the holistic development of these young learners.

Rotarians from all Rotary clubs of Nagpur marked the beginning of the new Rotary year with Abhishek and Darshan at Sai Mandir, in the presence of District Governor Rajesh Patil and First Lady Dr Seema Patil.

The Rotary Club of Nagpur Elite held its Installation Ceremony at Hotel Enrise by Sayaji, Bajajnagar, where the new leadership team is installed for the rotary year 2026-27.
Swapna Nair installed as President while Vishakha Pawar took charges as honorary secretary. The newly elected Board of Directors assumed their role of responsibilities for the new Rotary year by the hand of District Governor, RID 3030 Dr Rajesh Patil .Who handed over leadership to new team , congratulated them and expressed confidence that the club would continue to achieve greater milestones under its new leadership.
In her inaugural address President Swapna Nair outlined her vision for the year for meaningful community projects , healthcare initiatives , fellowship, and impactful humanitarian services. She reaffirmed the clubs commitment to Rotarys motto Service above self , and pledged to work collectively for the betterment of society. With her team.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the induction of more than 40 new members in a single day, marking one of the club’s largest membership drives and reinforcing its commitment to expanding Rotary’s service network.
The function illuminated by the felicitation of eminent medical professionals for their outstanding contribution to society. Dr. Ravindra Sarnaik and Dr. Prashant Jagtap , Dr. Sudhir Deshmukh, Dr. Sushma Deshmukh and all drs of rotary club honoured for their exemplary service and dedication in the field of healthcare.
The newly inducted Board Members and office bearers were also introduced and congratulated, expressing their commitment to strengthening Rotary's vision through meaningful projects and community engagement.
The event was graced by ddistinguished guests Shri Nilay Naik, Dr Seema Patil, Sangram Singh Bhonsle, Shabbir Shakir, Vishwas Sahastrabhojanee, Dr Rajan ,Tauby Bhagwagar, Manisha Manghani, Anil Nair, Past Presidents of Rotary Elite Ajay Patil, Pragati Patil, Dr Sushma Deshmukh , Subhankar Patil Mamta Jaiswal ,other District officials and senior leaders of Rotary.
The elegant celebration reflected the spirit of fellowship, leadership, and service, marking the beginning of another promising Rotary year.
The programme concluded with a fellowship dinner, providing members and guests an opportunity to strengthen bonds and celebrate the shared commitment towards creating a lasting impact in the community .

Club Orientation Programme – 18 June 2026

The Club Orientation Programme marked the beginning of our Rotary journey for 2026–27—a year of meaningful service, fellowship, learning, and lasting friendships.

This orientation was our first and most important step, helping us align our vision, goals, and commitment towards serving our community while strengthening our club.

We were privileged to have inspiring sessions by Past District Governor Rtn. Mahesh Mokalkar, Past District Governor Rtn. Shabbir Shakir, and Past President, Rotary Downtown, Rtn. Virendra Patrikar. Their insightful guidance, rich experience, and ability to present Rotary’s larger vision in a relatable way inspired and motivated everyone.
Overall, it was a highly productive, enriching, and inspiring Orientation Programme, setting the perfect tone for a successful Rotary year ahead. 🙏🌟

Dear Elitors

As we come to the conclusion of Rotary Year 2025-26, we had a wonderful Musical Evening on Tuesday, 23/6/26.
Amazing Elite singers gave their fantastic performances & spellbound the audience.
Chief guests PDS Rtn. Virendra Patrikar, Principal Advisor to LITU Rtn. Dr. Mohan Pande & Ex NMC Corporator PP Pragati Patil praised the singers team , enjoyed & encouraged them. PDS Virendra Patrikar & Rtn. Dr. Mohan Pande also gave superb performances.
Rtns. Dr. Rachana Panjabi, Yogesh Panjabi, Arvind Patil, Alka Yerawar, Manisha Chaudhary, Shirish Chaudhari, Vijay Jathe, Samir Pandit, Prashant Anwaney, Amol Nalage gave melodious performances.
Club Executive Secretary PP Dr. Ajay Patil, VP Rtn. Sana Opai, Rtn. Vishnu Manohar, Rtn. Ravindra Sankpal, R’ann Radhika Sankpal, Rtn. Sachin Deshmukh, Sushant Pawar were present.

And all the passionately kind hearts 💕 surprised me at every single moment.
Every moment was a tale of my journey through this Presidential Year. Remembering all the projects, picnics, jovial celebrations, energetic participations, fun overloads, camaraderie & the Elite Bonding of oneness, I realised I got the life full circle.
I don’t know how will I validate myself in society, but all my fellow Rotarians have been so kind to me, that I feel accomplished in Rotary Club of Nagpur Elite.
What one can have for a cherished living, I have received.

*The most special bond in a Rotary Year is President - Secretary. I am the luckiest person in this regard. Our dynamic Club Secretary Vishakha Pawar ….. at times, I could gather energy, enthusiasm and courage because Vishakha was there. We have 364 days of evens and odds. I had odds more. But Vishakha was there with her Sana Di ❤️. I will miss her.*
*Beautiful lady, perfect partner and a dedicated Rotarian. And in her leadership, all the enthusiastic Rotarians surprised me with a lot of gifts, my story & a gala dinner.*

I am still in shock …..
Everybody came in with a deluge of their own stories of their own contributions, evolved leadership and friendships experienced this Rotary Year 25-26.
Bidding bye couldn’t have been so genuine than this.
