TURNING PROMOTIONS INTO PURPOSE | BUILD AN ANIMAL SANCTUARY TOGETHER 🐾🐾

I’ve been thinking about this for a long time since 2016—and it’s time to put it out there.

This is not just about building one sanctuary. The ultimate aim is to establish 2–3 Animal Sanctuaries near every city, creating a widespread impact for animal welfare and society.

I am currently open to collaborations with individuals, brands, companies, and studios for promotion of products, services, or movie campaigns.

💡 Here’s the difference:
The entire amount received will be used to build an Animal Sanctuary, where animals will be rescued, cared for, and given a safe life.🐮🐴🐒🐦‍⬛🐦

This can also align with your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals—creating real impact while also gaining meaningful visibility.

“Understanding Dog Aggression: SOP, Science, and the Truth”

Even a dog that bites is handled as per a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
A dog is kept under observation for 10–20 days.
Only if the dog shows symptoms of rabies is it shifted to a shelter or isolation.
If no rabies symptoms appear, the dog is released back into its territory.
Even in shelters:
If a dog does not bite anyone, it may be released back
Territorial or situational aggression alone is not a crime
If a dog behaves aggressively only in a particular area, the reason is often human cruelty, not the dog’s nature.
Many dogs become defensive because they are:
Chased by vehicles
Hit with sticks or objects
Pelted with stones
Kicked or intentionally scared
Dogs do not attack without reason.
They react to fear, pain, and repeated abuse.
Blaming the animal while ignoring human actions is not justice.
Follow science. Follow law. Show compassion.

A day after the said the roads should be clear of dogs as 'no one can read a canine's mind', actor Divya Spandana — popularly known as Ramya — asked whether by the same logic all men should be put in jail.

Morgan Freeman has reportedly donated $11 million to create a lifelong sanctuary for homeless and stray dogs. The sanctuary is designed to provide long-term safety, medical care, and open space for animals with nowhere else to go.

Unlike traditional shelters, this sanctuary focuses on lifelong care instead of temporary housing. Dogs rescued there are given consistent support, freedom to roam, and protection from neglect, allowing them to live out their lives in peace and dignity.

THE ASHOKA LEGACY: Mapping the Guardians of the Soil

There are two primary ways the name "Ashoka" is connected to animal welfare and sanctuaries today: one refers to historical sites established by Emperor Ashoka, and the other to modern organizations and parks named in his honor.

1. Modern Sanctuaries & Parks

**Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary (Delhi): Located on the Southern Delhi Ridge of the Aravalli hill range. While the name "Asola" comes from a nearby village, it is a prominent protected area in the NCR region often associated with urban wildlife conservation.

Samrat Ashok Wildlife Sanctuary (Katni, Madhya Pradesh): A local tourist attraction and wildlife area located in Padarbhata, Katni.

**Ashoka Garden Zoo (Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh): A public zoo and animal park located in the Ashoka Garden neighborhood of Bhopal.

Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE): This is a prominent research institution (not a single physical sanctuary) that manages conservation sites across India, including in the Eastern Himalayas, Vembanad (Kerala), and the Biligiri Rangaswamy Temple Tiger Reserve (Karnataka).

2. Historical "Animal Hospitals" and Sanctuaries
Historically, Emperor Ashoka (3rd century BCE) is credited with establishing some of the world's first veterinary hospitals and wildlife protection laws. His edicts mention "Abhayaranya" (forests where animals are safe from hunting).
Edicts of Ashoka: These proclamations were carved onto pillars across India (Sarnath, Sanchi, Lauriya Nandangarh, etc.).

Key Locations:
**Sarnath (Uttar Pradesh): Site of the Lion Capital, symbolizing his message of non-violence.
Lauriya Nandangarh (Bihar): One of the few pillars still in its original location with a lion capital and intact inscriptions regarding Dharma and animal protection.
**Vaishali (Bihar): Another major site of an Ashokan pillar topped with a lion.

3. Regional "Ashoka" Animal Centers

There are several smaller clinics and local welfare groups using the name:
Ashoka Vet Clinic (Chennai): A well-known veterinary facility in Tambaram Sanatorium.

**Gorewada Zoo & Wildlife Rescue Centre (Nagpur): While not named "Ashoka," it is a major modern facility in your current location of Nagpur that reflects the Ashokan principle of animal rescue and welfare.
