Chiku’s treatment journey continues. ❤️🐾

After receiving his first and second doses, Chiku has now received his 3rd injection as part of his ongoing treatment for a skin infection, as prescribed by the vet.

His recovery is still a work in progress, and regular treatment, care and monitoring will continue. Every step matters when it comes to healing. 🐾❤️

Lily’s Voice Foundation will continue to stand by Chiku throughout his recovery.

A call came from Wadi about a society dog who had suffered a serious ear injury during a dog fight.

His ear had developed pus and maggots, and instead of receiving treatment, there was a discussion about relocating him elsewhere.

Lily’s Voice team stepped in. The wound was cleaned and treated by the doctor, and medicines were provided for the next 10 days.

He has not been relocated. The team is taking daily updates to keep track of his recovery and make sure he is getting better.

This is how Lily’s Voice works in Nagpur — responding to injured street dogs, arranging medical care and staying involved beyond the first treatment.

After receiving his first dose of injections and starting his treatment, Chiku has now received his 2nd dose as prescribed by the vet.

We’re happy to see improvement in his condition, but his recovery is still ongoing. Regular medicines, care and monitoring will continue as he gets stronger.

We’ll keep standing by Chiku and sharing his progress with you. 🐾❤️
