On September 3rd, Good Vision Seva Trust, in collaboration with Dr.Suresh Eye Hospital, organized a Free Eye Camp at Painkulam Panchayat Office. 77 individuals received free eye check-ups and care. Gratitude to our medical team and community partners for making this possible!

Good Vision Seva Trust organised a meaningful Women’s Day rally with SHG women at Mulloorthurai, Kanniyakumari district.
In line with the 2026 International Women’s Day theme “Give to Gain,” the programme focused on giving support, respect, knowledge, and opportunities to women so that the whole community can progress together.
SHG members walked together carrying messages on dignity, equality, education, and mutual help, inspiring others to stand for women’s rights and empowerment.

Under the ‘Cancer Free Kanyakumari’ project, Good Vision Seva Trust joined hands with IMA Marthandam to conduct a cancer awareness session and medical camp on World NGO Day. Igniting young minds, shaping tomorrow’s leaders! ✨

Good Vision Seva Trust, in collaboration with Scott Christian college successfully organized the District Level Youth Leadership Programme “Ignite Your Spark” on 16 February 2026, with the inspiring presence of Honorable Minister Mr. T. Mano Thangaraj. Around 500 NSS students actively participated and gained valuable insights on leadership, self-motivation, discipline and social responsibility. 💫

On February 12th, 2026, we conducted a People Forum gathering at the Good Vision Seva Trust office, with all 57 PDA (People Development Association) representatives!
The session dove deep into:
• Tackling key societal concerns through collective action.
• Highlighting the vital importance of PDA meetings for sustained progress.
• Clarifying the key roles of PDA representatives in guiding SHG (Self-Help Group) leaders.
This was more than a meeting—it was a call to unity, inspiring everyone to drive real change in our communities. Together, we’re building a stronger, more inclusive future! 💪

Cancer-Free Kanyakumari: Survey Power Leads to 150 Lives Screened! 🔥

Good Vision Seva Trust is associated with NIMS Medicity and Nesamani Memorial Christian College NSS Units 88, 135, and 182 mobilized 60 dynamic NSS students for a door-to-door survey in Verkilambi Town Panchayat.
They covered all 18 wards, reached ~5000 households, surveyed 1950 families from Feb 2-5, and ignited awareness on early cancer detection!150 people turned up for FREE cancer screening at our medical camp on Feb 6, 2026, and benefited directly! Prevention in action.

Good Vision Seva Trust held inspiring PDA meetings on Feb 8th in Eechangadu and today in Amshi, with SHG representatives uniting to tackle challenges, devise their own solutions, and elect new PDA leaders. Crucial awareness was sparked on early cancer detection and its causes—empowering healthier futures!
