don’t make any animals wait In emergencies. Dumping them at shelters is not going to help. Do your bit too when they’re in need.

What you should do instead of shaving your pets down this summer -

• Keep them groomed - brush them everyday, make sure their fur is never matted. Trim fur only where there’s excess growth and is hindering their normal movements (paws, face, around their backside)
• Do not walk them jn the sun
• Do not keep them outdoors during the day
• Do not feed only dry food, biscuits
• Fresh food, hydration is all the more important in summer
• Consider making them frozen treats, lick mats
• Learn from your vet to recognise early signs of heat stroke - if you do notice them do not treat it yourself and rush to the vet.

Everyone’s always getting confused with microchips and GPS trackers so here’s the difference.

If you have questions, recommendations, leave a comment. Satellite trackers are still not available in India, so GPS trackers have a very small range. I use AirTags but they depend only on other apple devices near them to bounce off signals from to provide tracking details. Which makes it of no use if the pet isn’t around apple devices and in remote places unfortunately.

To be on the safest side, please be careful while travelling with your pets, use good quality harnesses, do not board them in bad places, sterilise your pets, don’t leave them unattended or to walk themselves alone.
