I’m taking things slow this year because I have a lot going on at home with my own animals and my health.

I’m still ofcourse helping with loads of strays care food, meds wise + getting some of them sterilised as well. All your support is what makes it possible for me to keep going despite not being able to constantly post everything that I do! Truly grateful for that.

For anyone who wants to donate - DM / check out the Amazon wishlist link in my bio♥️

Being chosen to channel someone’s lifelong love and compassion for animals is a privilege I don’t take lightly. Mrs. Kumudini led a life with great love for animals, and seeing her family honor her by uplifting their lives is incredibly moving.

Swipe to see the beautiful souls I am able to care for, protect, and love, all thanks to this profound generosity.

Your love lives on, Mrs. Kumudini. May this inspire in others to live with such compassion as well🕊️🙏🏼

I only share adoption appeals of select NGOs, rescuers whom I know personally, have had the experience of working with and am thoroughly aware of their adoption formalities, protocol and the kind of care they take of the animals they’ve put for adoption. And most importantly they FOLLOW UP. They don’t just give them away and forget about them, their well being.

Their animals have gone through physical and behavioural assessments which means they are able to pick families accordingly keeping in my mind the best interests and safety of both the animals, the families.

Sharing adoption posts Mindlessly, of people who don’t have any of this going on is dangerous. Imagine a dog who isn’t comfortable around other dogs or kids for instance being sent away to a home with kids, other dogs already overwhelmed from rescue, rehabilitation and settling into a new home. Imagine the kind of stress and danger it puts the dog and others in that household? What of dogs having unknown medical health issues being sent to people, places who can’t manage them. so many hoarders, people who don’t spay and nueter also seem to be using adoption to get rid of litters.

Adoption is far from giving away animals like free phamplets which is unfortunately what most people have started doing. It’s not as easy as putting a fancy post on IG and getting people to share. It’s difficult work and a lot of it. It should be done professionally only. And so support those of us who do! Do not encourage miscreants and give them the platform to misuse animals or get rid of them. Be responsible 🙏🏻
Help build standards in animal welfare.

Helping strays heal from deep wounds if you cannot take them to the hospital.

• Secure them immediately. Give them water, food and bedding.
• Take photos, videos of the issue and consult your go to vet about first aid. Or consult a vet who can do a home visit on what to do before he can visit (this case was treated at home by Dr Chetan from Happy paws)
• Start off with the treatment with home visit accompanied by nourishing meals, supplements make sure the dog is also treated for ticks, fleas and worms
• provide clean bedding away from sun and rain
• avoid handling them too much, give them lots of time to recuperate and make space for them away from other dogs, noises and disturbances

(Meat based hydrating meals instead of just packaged food or vegetarian food helps - meds can be slipped In cooked meat)

DO NOT SELF MEDICATE WITHOUT A GOOD VETS PRESCRIPTION. Do not use DIY home treatments or human meds on animals. And do not dump them at shelters where they’re going to get worse, develop secondary issues that could kill them. You can see how one of our other dog was sent to PFA cause of a small wound and it ended up almost killing him as they infected him with so many other things and severe mange.

Leave in the comments if you have questions. Meds for one dog is not the same for others do not share prescription even if it’s “same issues”

The last few months have been so, so incredibly overwhelming wrt to people I’ve had to deal with.

I’ve been harassed just because I’m someone who puts animals first, the way people take advantage of those of us who truly love animals is beyond words.

So I really needed some time off for myself to give myself much needed respite. Not from helping animals but from having to put up with horrendous people.

So regardless of me posting or not, my work is always always going on! So please do show your continued support despite my absence. Also huge shout out to Raquel Cohanim The Local Friendly Bakery, my dear friend maya , Amog Urs for supporting me relentlessly. People like them are what keep me going without burning myself out. They truly are godsent 🙏🏻♥️

I took a break from posting on this page & it continued after being so damn overwhelmed with the pot distribution.. not a break from running this ngo because there are so many animals who depend on me everyday.. also we found out that daisy has gotten comfortable around cats after she spent time on the farm whilst we were away!! That could only mean one thing - i added another needy someone to the family 🧿🥰 So I’ve been a bit busy with her as well.

I’m hopefully back to posting now , As always I’m sure y’all will show support like I was never gone!
