What a proud day for us at Namma Mysuru Foundation! 🎉💚

Today’s event recap brought together everyone who made our Waste Segregation Awareness and Clean Drive, in collaboration with Heritage City College of Health Sciences, a true success. We were honored to have A B Ibrahim, I.A.S., Chairman of Heritage City College, felicitate our own Chairman, Mr. Dasharath, in recognition of the impact this collaboration has created across Mysore.

The students of Heritage City College didn’t just participate, they led. From conducting the clean drive in the park to speaking directly with citizens about the importance of waste segregation, they took our message straight to the streets through powerful street plays that got the whole community watching, listening, and learning.

The energy didn’t stop there. Our exhibition showcased the creativity of these students, with handmade eco crafts and sustainable art pieces reflecting everything they’ve learned about environmental responsibility. We felicitated our winners for their outstanding contribution, and honored yesterday’s street play troupe for spreading awareness in such an engaging, memorable way.

This is what real change looks like: students stepping up, a community listening, and leaders recognizing the power of youth driven action. Waste segregation starts with awareness, and awareness starts with all of us.

A huge thank you to everyone who came together to make this program meaningful, from the students and staff at Heritage City College to our own team and every citizen who paused to listen. Here’s to a cleaner, more conscious Mysore. 🌱♻️

A partnership that means business. 🤝

Yesterday, Namma Mysore Foundation, Pratyagra Foundation, and IFIA Bharat officially signed an MOU at MYRA School of Business, bringing three organizations together in support of the Sir MV Young Innovators Challenge 2026.

From young minds at STEM Avishkar setting the stage, to hearing the vision behind the Sir MV Awards, to the moment the ink hit paper, this is what real collaboration for the next generation of innovators looks like.

Waste segregation awareness drive at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan School, Mysuru

When 500+ students learn to separate wet and dry waste, the habit doesn’t stay in the classroom it goes home with them.
NMF x STEMavishkar took this waste management awareness drive straight to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, turning a serious topic into something kids actually got excited about. From sorting demos to hands-on activities, the goal was simple: make segregation second nature, early.

Because real environmental change starts with the next generation understanding why it matters not just being told to do it.
